Warbringer Shockwave Totems: 300k+ dps mapping / 450k+bossing. Easy T16s & Bossing. (Videos)

What if we choose no Wooden Wall, then go Jade + imploding impacts? I feel like wooden wall is neglible with 3k+ life, thoughts?

Edit I'm also confused as to why you would want the increased melee damage in the pre-jewels skill tree. Feels like going straight for the attributes is way better.

No wooden wall is a choice you can make. 20% damage reduction, however, is actually huge imo. It makes your effective life 25% more than its face value. For example: at 3k life, 3k of incoming damage will actually do only 2400. It takes 3750 of incoming damage to do the 3000 necessary to kill you. 750 extra life in this game is in no way negligible. I have tried the build both ways and suggested the configuration I felt to be superior. Ymmv.

Life vs. attributes is a choice. A node adding 5 points of strength grants 10 life only. Unlike POE1, it is not providing additional damage. Deciding which to take is a balancing act. As I played the game I continually respecced, based on feel, to focus on either damage or defense and determine where I wanted that balance to be. That resulted in the tree I published. None of it is written in stone. If you prefer to be a bit tankier, go for more strength. If you prefer more damage, go for more damage. I do not understand why you believe attributes are "way better". That said, test for yourself and make your own determinations.

what's the ebst core to put on both weapons if you dont need the soul cores in it?

Soul Cores of Azcapa each grant +15 spirit when socketed in a weapon. 4 of those across two two handed weapons grant +60 spirit and would allow you to take overwhelming presence, attrition, blink, cast on minion death, or such other spirit based skill as you might be interested in costing 60 or less.

Do the passive nodes in the beginning of tree affect totem damage?

Which ones? Even without knowing, I will answer your question with a short explanation to allow you to make the determination without me:

Damage of shockwave totem will be affected by any node sharing its tags. If you hover the skill, you will see that these are totem, AOE, Melee, Slam, Physical, Duration, and Nova. So a node that increases Melee damage will apply because it shares a tag. A node that increases fire damage will not apply becaues it does not share a tag.

Hope that helps,

What support gems do you run with jade heritage?
This is a good start. To take this build over the top like I have it, run the lucky block shield for ez 90% block, use weapon swap speed along with totem placement speed in jewels and you will dps like a mad man with tank defensive. Literally rolling T18s like nothing. Very safe. Once you get the timing down it will be like you always have shield on.

I don't know that any of the gems has much effect on jade heritage. I run arcane tempo for the slight inc cast speed. thats about it.

Hi would you be so kind as to tell me how I can approach 90% block chance using this build? Using a Svailling shield that has -10% to maximum block chance

Have tried playing with the swap, and just prefer to remain dual wielding most of the time. My working theory is that anything having the shield up gives me a 75-90% chance to block, dodge rolling can give me a 100% chance to avoid long enough for my totems to kill it. As long as there is nothing that can one shot me (which most blockable mechanics cannot) I can afford to miss my dodge periodically. I am able to flask so often that I am almost always at full health while mapping. My way requires a more active playstyle, but this is my preference. Ymmv.
