The honour system needs to be in a specific room only, not the entire trial
At the very least, disable honour on the boss. |

Im not touching this game until trials are gone and i havent stopped playing since release. You cant play any char deep into endgame without those skills and failing at trials is the worst thing ever. 1 life or start it all over is BS, and it aint fun to begin with. I cant express how shit it is. I didnt enjoy getting my first two done, I dreaded every second of it, and it wasnt even satisfying to complete it. Now im failing on the third. I give up. I have ZERO interest in having to do this shit. ZERO! Knowing all charactors are bricked without those skills I guess means im done with this game, and I love everything else about it.

I hope they come to their senses. Worst idea ever in poe history. I can take some tight corridors with annoying rare mods, thats oldschool, thats fine, campaign vry hard fine i'll take it, but this just goes to far...
Ascendancy = Lab... The two belong together and not to some overtuned modern league mechanic...Why would you want Ultimatum or Sacntum in your new game??? They are neither good nor bring they nostalgia. Remove, delete, make third ascendancy achievable for lvl 70ish characters and do not gate it behind some giga uber challenge. |

I did this trial as monk and as deadeye. Easily ran on ranged, I still haven't beaten it with monk. The RNG affects melee too much. Sanctum should be a farming mechanic, not something that locks ascendancies.
Flame totems spawn right on your character and shotgun your honor. It's instant as well. On death affects - the purple explosions have been about half my melee fails. The gameplay is, roll, do 1 attack, roll, do 1 attack. It's not fun on melee at all. I do not like sanctum, and never have. I can deal with how it is for ranged, but melee is fucked. Especially since you lose the run and the key and then have to go farm for more. If you are going to leave it this way, just make the ascendency point trial tokens green items that don't get used until you acquire the points. Make it so that the green token entry keys don't give a ton of gear or exp so people can't abuse them; make it purely for the point gain. Leave the other tokens the same for people who farm the sanctum, one-time use only. |

update: was able to clear floor 3 trial very easily as a monk (got slammed many times by boss but it only chipped honor) by stacking honor resistance relics.
people use the game mechanics!!! that being said, honor is still a meh mechanic. open for a better system. |

I'm honestly blown away by the two trials and even more generally the league mechanics that were chosen. People actually like expedition? I find that insanely hard to believe.

Because of challenges my build couldn't deal with very well and often failing late into my runs because of compounding bad debuff options, I only managed to do the trials when I was significantly over-leveled. This seriously disrupts the flow of going through the campaign. Haven't even tried the cruel versions for the last 4 points.
Surely GGG will have statistics showing that the trials in their current forms are roadblocks for many people, and make some changes. |
