this doesn't even add up with its own narrative. if all resources went into poe1 seasons and poe2 philosophy being changed last minute due to mis-management why did they switch 180 now and placed poe1 seasons on ice?

Where it doesn't add up ? For years they focused all efforts on milking PoE 1 seasons because that was the only way they could meet the MTX objectives ordered by Tencent . PoE 2 did bring no money on the table for years . And GGG did reversed that focus back on PoE 2 recently because that was the only way to launch the product on time ( GGG even had to delay due to MTX not being ready yet ) . Now PoE 2 did make great sales , good for them , but the game is still in a meh state on several aspects so they are trying to keep player retention on it to milk EA as much as possible . That's all there is to it .

Once you remove from the equation BS copium such as "GGG isn't after our wallets they care about quality & the players" , everything they did and what was leaked so far makes perfect sense .

Chris is one of the persons behind PoE 1's Ruthless mode. He is probably busy playing PoE 2 as it is very likely more in line what he wanted PoE to be in the first place. /thread

How certain are you of this? By then Tencent had 30%. They had 30% of a private company. I'm not sure what the legal concerns or power structures work, but I'm certain they could exert power in some way. I've watched dozens of directors I've worked for tell me how they feel in private, then go out and tow the line when giving PR speaches or making public statements.

nothing adds up here, and you even state more and more things that make absolutely no sense. if all resources were used on poe1 leagues, how the fuck did they create all these assets for poe2? now you switching to MTX being the reason and not straight up mis-managment? duno if you seeing how you are dodging here, but maybe you are the one deluded by some chan troll. there is truth in those claims but they are nowhere near as nefarious as you make them to be, which is how its always done. just pull back and re-evaluate this instead of parroting it

Again Chris is publicly listed as the current Managing director of GGG, but hey some random poster on a forum says it aint so, when cornered and asked to cite a source: he'll link a person saying "prove me wrong" who's obviously making shit up, as proof, and he "saves these posts on his hard drive" in case "the truth" (stories) are wiped from the internet by the videogame shadow police or something? Oh and Starcitizen is also proof that he's right and the people who want proof are wrong and just not in on the sekret knowledge.
