It is meant for aciton rpg players that like to hunt for loot and kil interesting bosses. There is plenty of great gear to be found.

Not for me, at least for now.
I do prefer a more slower combat, but i don't like the excessive focus on dodge rolling. The way it is now dodge rolling is just a priority over everything else in the game, making build making, gearing and skill combinations way less rewarding. I get it that they wanted to implement some Souls like formula to the game, and i'm ok with that and i love dark souls games, but PoE is suposed to be an ARPG first, not an isometric Dark souls/Elden ring clone. They need to at least make Dodge roll have a cd and reduce the oneshot mechanics on bosses. Also bring back movement skills, they are way more fun and interesting than dodge rolling. This game is made exclusively for console players, it is obvious from the gameplay, controls, etc.
The irony is that it was made possible by PC players who donated their money to GGG for years, believing that they would get a worthy successor to POE1. |
