It would be a scam to take advantage of the players who supported them for 10 years to make a sequel that does not meet their expectations.
Thats all i have to say.[

Not at all. They met my expectations. You just wanted another brainded game where you can kill everything by walking RF boy. Fallout 2 and 3 are also completely different. Turn out you dont need to make carbon copy.

They have not met anything yet. My guess is most will be out by act one end.

Im at act3, there is a lot of people doing cruel. Im having a blast. Its finally satisfying to make progress, bosses are bosses and not just another mob with different tint, rares are rare and strong like they should be etc. Gear progression could be better but thats just EA. Such things will get sorted out. As of now 9/10.
it s for grandpas that think poe1 is too fast. wouah i dodge the spell with space bar. so strong

Honestly, based on what I see from game design and what I can infer by "intent" of the devs the game is NOT for me.

I don't particularly care for "dodge or die" [or honor] mechanics as it takes me maybe about 0.25 seconds too long to analyze my position, analyze the position of the enemies & traps, recognize incoming abilities / traps, and then formulate the proper course of action to avoid the damage.

Really that's the only "big" problem I have with the game currently.

I recently was playing around with SSF Ruthless so I've acclimated to low damage [still running a 2 link in L10 maps] ; questionable gearing ; enemies feeling like damage sponges ...

Note: None of the above makes PoE2 a bad game. It might make it a poor successor to "recent PoE leagues". I would also have strong convictions that PoE2 doesn't feel like a spiritual successor of D2 [once removed] so in that aspect I would also it's a bad follow-up to that.

GGG, do a follow up video and be very honest, please explain the type of player this is for and how many do you think there are of that type?

At least half a million (526125), according to Steam Charts.

This metric is not really viable 48 hrs after release. I get the point your trying to make but give it two weeks and check again.

But to the point, the game is brand new and its quite different from past ARPGS. Its difficult to say who the game is for because a community doesn't really exist for it yet. I would assume its for fans of the ARPG and Rogue Like genres. Or for people who enjoy souls games. (Sorry, dont know that genre)
Fuck this game
For Dark Souls and Elden Ring players.
Can I have your account please? :) I haven't had the chance to try it yet
