Trial of sekhema is really bad
wait until you try the "easier" alternative called trial of chaos. its even more bullshit.

" I really gotta spell it out for you, don't I? Since you seem to think everyone complaining just wants victory spoon fed to them, which is really, REALLY telling. No, I do not want Izaro difficulty But I also don't want a mechanic that is anti-fun So, here are some alternatives: -Make it a really complex puzzle -Make it a boss gauntlet -Make it a fast kill event, need certain amount of points to win -Make it a riddle What you don't do is make it so RNG heavy that only a few elite pricks can beat it, then flaunt their snobbery on forums. |

I absolutely despise this idea of getting hard blocked from ascendancy by Sanctum. It's the most unfun and frustrating thing I've encountered yet. This isn't just a "challenge" it's alt-F4 rage inducing.
At the very very least, remove the honor bar from the boss rooms. The bosses and their mechanics are hard enough we don't need to also be punished with an honor bar. Not a single person wants to spend days farming for keys just to go in and spend an hour tip toeing around 3 floors of rooms praying to the god of luck for good affliction choices and then get their honor bar demolished on a floor boss. And it's mandatory because Ascendancy points are so game changing. No one is having fun with this, not even the people who are succeeding. |

For melee this is simply the worst mechanic in the history of PoE.
Any mob killed in melee range should give you lots of honor. Any hit on bosses should restore honor. Man... Lab was 10x better than this They didn't test it with melee AT ALL |

" Dude, yes, I keep getting to the third floor boss and losing from not having enough honor. This shit takes way too long and is the least amount of fun I have ever had in a game. At a minimum they should just make it so that your first 2 points you run floor one, then for you next 2 points you start at floor 2, etc. Please respect the players time and eliminate some of the tedium out of these mechanics. |

Did trials 1 and 2. The random debuffs were annoying, but I eventually got through them. Trial 3 seems insurmountable to me. Every time I do it, I get some unbelievable debuff (or the one that stacks a random one every time I get one, so double debuffs).
Furthermore, I’ve got all my damage going to mana, which regenerates so fast that I hardly notice normal damage. I don’t invest in health, I invest in mana and mana regen. Yet, my Honor bar is based on health. So, I must completely change my entire build to run this ascendency? It’s not going to happen. I’ve decided that I won’t bother with ascending trials 3 and 4, and I’m simply playing the maps and fooling around there. I certainly hope GGG changes course with the trials. |

The honor system is horrible end of story it should be removed end of story.

" Sekhema is a complex puzzle, determining which route is the ideal without having exact details is a puzzle to work out. Proper pathing can resolve a large amount of problems in your runs. It's also a gauntlet to run, with 4 bosses you have to defeat. It does have time killed rooms, that go faster if you kill rares. But a straight "kill X in Y time" would lock out any builds that aren't designed for fast clear. I'm sure they could add riddle rooms for you, but that would probably annoy a lot of players. It is not RNG heavy (you're thinking Trial of Chaos, which really is RNG dominated at the level we first encounter it). It is a puzzle to work out, skill wins over RNG. You say it yourself when you say "only a few elite pricks can beat it" well, if they can beat it then it must not be that RNG heavy... otherwise they wouldn't be consistently beating it. It is not anti-fun, just because YOU don't like it doesn't make it anti-fun. |

" Everything you have just stated is wrong. -It is not a puzzle, at best it is a maze. Which you have no chance of proper pathing without sinking a lot of time into, because you will not be able to see what the path ahead will reserve for you. -it is not really a gauntlet, since it is a series of maps. -it is not a time killed room. it is a time room with effect on rare kills. -everyone would rather have riddle rooms than this. -it is NOTHING BUT rng nonsense. from the boons, to the afflicts, to the room design, etc. How can you be wrong about everything? Are you just trolling? Why? |
|
I did a few runs and now can confidentally say that the last bosses kill mechanic with collecting the hourglasses is entirely impossible to do without lucky RNG and 40% ms boon. 10/10
