that logic works when its endgame and OPTIONAL not when you run into a brick wall face first at level 20 barely out of act 1 ...

locking progress for a specific playstyle behind nigh impossible "challenge" when most people are still learning basics and then get pushed into something that goes directly opposite to the experience so far - especially for warriors the lesson in act 1 is "dont go for damage, invest in survivability first" then immediatelly get PUNISHED for doing so by mechanic of "damage all the way, survivability is meaningless" ...

great design ...

and by the way its exact opposite of what you say here, current "solution" for this problem is to BRUTE FORCE IT by overlevelling ...
Imagine you're playing hardcore. You fail 3 runs at the boss at the end Because F melee players, and then on the 4th run the game decides to 1shot your health pool instead of honor pool, because you didn't touch a crystal in time.

Trial of sekhama can eat my ***

As harsh as it is yea. Like apparently this mechanic is so hard for melee and yet I did it just fine and it was my first time ever doing this as well.

Had FULL honor for the boss fight just got a little lazy on some dodges but it was super easy. And look how much honor you get lol.

Spoiler
Just my opinion:
I personally think that the trial is way to hard. Attempting it several times and just dying at the the end is such a waste of precious important time. I think it would be best if they just remove the "honor" system and let them do it "your way" based on where your character is currently at. This way, the trial will be more flexible.
After getting through its not so bad in hindsight

I agree, it‘s way too Hard, the loss of honor is way too harsh
It will be impossible to balance the honor system with range versus melee classes. It is completely busted playing this as melee, especially the boss.

This needs to not be part of ascendancy.
It's easy to balance it. Just remove the fkn thing lol. Ez clap.

It never should have existed to begin with.

As much as I dislike Sanctum, I knew what was coming when i saw that 'Honor' bar come up, did the first room then left and came back later with more levels, the boss is pretty bad with slow movement as a warrior but I got through it

Ultimatum on the other hand was hilariously overtuned day 1, I wasnt expecting 'expanding circle that does physical damage' to mean 'single circle that fills 90% of your tiny arena while 30 fast mobs with surprisingly large hp are on your ass the whole time' let alone some of the other dreadful mods, I failed it and decided I didn't need the points that badly just now

Thanks for reintroducing the two mechanics I dislike the most as a replacement for labs GGG.
the first bosse has unavoidable mechanics feels like.

it is hard to know where falling flame projectiles will land

Otherwise I suggest you to go build a shockwave totem character on poe1 and practice sanctum,

it will feel much harder but bosses has clearer mechanics and more predictable AOEs, also currency rewards are more accessible.
