Im not saying there isnt possibly an issue with the game as well. I encourage people to try an OS that isn't win 11 though. As it helped me with my issues. which was hard freezing constantly every 10 to 30 minutes. PoEUncrasher might work, but it doesn't fix the DX12 crashes. Maybe it fixes the locking, haven't tried it long enough for that. Game didn't even load to account sign-in before freezing and crashing the OS. Deleting various temp and roaming files afterwards doesn't help either. Ok this has been bothering me for over a week. I went an uninstalled the most recent windows update and it has not crashed yet. It was locking my PC up every second portal - worrying. They really need to fix this. I shouldn't have to install some third party .exe, reinstall old version of an OS or self gimp my PC for a game that has a potentially system breaking issue that no other game has (that I have played even in EA). Multiple posts of hundred of pages long from different forums talking about this issue seems like it would be a higher priority than it looks to be. It’s a shame that this isn’t fixed. Sucks to go into holiday break with two weeks off and not be able to play. Thought it woulda been patched by now.
