Well, what do you expect from them?

more attention and work with the community, this is a serious problem. People have paid money and feel like they just don't give a damn.

I tried getting a steam refund but I have 9 hours played so it was denied. 15-20 hard crashes in 9 hours. Biggest waste of money ever and by far and away the worst launch of any video game I’ve ever seen. As a destiny 2 player, these guys make Bungie look good. D2 may be buggy but at least it works.

Dude get some patience it is an early access game and it is one of the best games of the last decade. You just have to be patient for them fixing it. It was never promised to be bug free and not promised to be full and complete and perfect. We don't care about the whining. We don't want to hear it.

Ruthless-like light version of POE1 can't be one of the best game of the last decade. Even not close.
Just adding my voice to the chorus here.

This never happened to me until I upgraded windows to 24H2.
It's been very frequent since then and always happens on loading screens for me.

They asked for dxdiags at least, and have listed it as a high priority known issue since like day 2 of the release. As well as updating the known issue to be more detailed, that it surrounds Multithreading.

Honestly doubt there is any more that they can say that won't just hold them to expectations and imagined dates for it being fixed for an issue that seems complex and unpredictable. We don't want them to release a fix that works on their end with a fraction of the sample size, but actually makes things worse for everyone.

It does fucking suck though, I understand the frustration. I wanna play the game so bad, but I don't want to risk dealing with the crashes anymore.

I have the same setup, the only difference I have 64gb ram. I stopped having hard crashes. I still crash to desktop, sometimes I get a crash to desktop with po up window missing textures.
I updated my bios and left everything stock except ram xmp. Re downloaded AMD chipset drivers. No more hard crashes, still getting crashes to desktop.
In my previous bios setup I had the motherboard TdP set to max 105 watts. After I updated new bios I left it stock. Playing multithreaded no hard crashes.
9800x3d
X870e motherboard
4090
Ssd
Win 11

To all the people that have new x870e and x870 motherboards. In bios leave your motherboard TdP stock and don’t use gaming mode.

My system is:

AMD Ryzen 7 9800x3d
MSI Mag x870 Tomahawk WIFI
4080 super OC
Samsung nvme SSD
Windows 11 latest build

Been crashing since day one. Never enabled gaming mode or overclocked the 9800x3d. Don't know much about overclocking and don't want to void warranty. Have EXPO enabled on a 64GB 6000 MT/s RAM kit by G.Skill and it's stable in every other application. After the third crash I just turned off the game and have been playing bug forum simulator every day since.

My point is none of the fixes listed in any of these threads truly fix anything, and your settings really don't seem to matter much. Maybe doing this or that would equate to a "minus x number of crashes" until they release a small balance patch and your fix seemingly no longer has any effect on the crashing.
Irrelevant, ignore post

Had the same issue, This is what worked for me:

1. Open Command Prompt as Administrator:

Press Win + S to open the search bar.

Type cmd.

Right-click on Command Prompt and select Run as administrator.

2. Run the DISM Commands:

In the Command Prompt window, type the following commands one by one and press Enter after each command:

DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
3. Run the SFC Command:

After the DISM commands have completed, type the following command and press Enter:

sfc /scannow

4. Wait for the Scans to Complete:

The scans might take some time to complete. Be patient and let them finish.

5. Review the Results: (Optional)

Once the scans are complete, the Command Prompt will display the results. If any issues were found and fixed, it will let you know.

Hi bro, I tried your fix... and it says that it found damaged files and repaired them, supposedly.

What exactly does this fix?

thank you.
