yeah, in its current state ES is not supported at all. so its kind of terrible.

meanwhile, mana drain is massive. there's a bunch of damage taken from mana nodes. theres mana draining comet/cast on freeze. mana draining ice wall, etc.
Theres sigil of power, AND mana tempest, AND mana flare, AND archmage.

EB is the obvious choice. for every spellcaster.


(btw mana flare has a 1s cd. need to test that and see if our CD mechanics work on it.)


And yeah, frost wall is going to get nerfed as some point sadly. Comet is probably too. Gas grenades were just nerfed...
all the trouble to make the hipster build work is going to get nerfed due to non-hipster builds making use of them via other cheese. haha.

This build sounds fun. I usually go Cold element in ARPGs so this is perfect.


yeah, bear in mind, right now Cold sorceress is the meta. and focusing on frost bolt/Eye of winter, and Comet, and Max mana/mana regen prioritizes Stormweaver. not Chronomancer.

Chrono is more focused on cheezing frostwall/secondwind frostbomb.

I hope they dont nerf it too much. I really like the playstyle. It certainly doesnt feel 100% cheese for me atleast because youre so liable to get wrecked if you mess up positioning on bosses/hard packs.

did anyone test the "heavy frost" (hits ignore elemental resistance of frozen enemies) + Icebite course?

how does it stack ?

What I'm expecting

1)enemy has 50% resist -> Enemy is frozen (his resist is 0)=> , casting "Icebite" removes 32% more resist -> his resist is -32%

But It also could be like:

2) Enemy has 50% resist -> Enemy is Frozen(resist 0) => casting Icebite removes 32% from original res(50%) => Enemy still has resist 0

took me a bit. you mean Hypotherima. not icebite. ha.

cursed enemies have -36% resist.

hits ignore eleme resist of frozen enemies.



in poe 1, hits IGNORE resistances, sets Resist at zero. negating negatives, such as exposure, and curses.
Yeah, hypothermia, sorry :)

So this means If I'm relying on Freeze + Heavy frost, It doesn't make any sense to use the "hypothermia" on a frozen enemy
updated tree theorycraft.
-4 jewel sockets.

-recoup. default is 8s.
chronomancer 4s recoup.
"Pliable flesh". 25% increased speed of recoup effects. I am not sure if this means 3s recoup, or 25% increased magnitude. meaning if we were getting 200hp/s for 4s, we now get 250/s for 4s. either way is very good.
same for "arcane blossom" which I expect to effect mana recoup.

Currently has 34% of damage taken from mana, without MOM.
with 26% of damage recouped as mana. and 46% of damage recouped as life.
if we take MOM, we can drop the damage taken from mana nodes, and get more regen/es nodes instead. 50% less mana recovery is pretty rough though.


Forthcoming. reduces our ice bombs CD, fuse time, but also their damage technically. The overall CD reduction is worth it.

ES is terrible. EB is all but required as I noted in that other post. for all witch/sorcs.

This tree does not make use of the trigger nodes. Something to consider for sure.

Slow is basically action speed reduction from POE1.

Present of the Moment passive from ascendancy stacks with other slows so I put Temporal Chains + Magnified Effect on Blasphemy to slow enemies by 47%.

Then I some AoE nodes and Zone of Control on tree to have bigger curse AoE and hinder by 15%.

Present of the Moment
has 6m radius, Blasphemy now has 5.7m radius.

I'm now in maps and mobs can't even attack me, if they somehow get to me I use Temporal Rift and escape. Too bad it doesn't slow projectiles.

Interesting. there are reports of Apex of the Moment not working.

I did see Zone of control. did you also grab Hindered Capabilities right next to it?

I did try Blasphemy_enfeeeble and was not impressed with its default size, even with magnify.
