POE 2 early access paywall

GGG could make early access completely free and people would still find a way to find complain. I guarantee it.

Think of it as buying 300 shop coins for POE1 and getting a POE2 code for free then.

:) I don't need 300 shop coins for POE 1 either. I don't even play it anymore, but I wouldn't mind giving POE 2 a try at some point.

Good job you'll be able to that for free, what's the problem?

POE 2 will be a free-to-play game at launch.

But you want to charge us for beta-testing your product during early access?..

Did you guys think this through?

Yeah they did. When you spend a few more years on this planet, you're gonna realize that nothing and I repeat _nothing_ in your life is for free. You might be unwilling to pay for it, but somebody else _must_.

And no, I'm not going to unpack it for you, so do not respond, unless you comprehend the above paragraph.

Well in like 6 months* when it releases proper you can, and as I stated elsewhere, during POE1 EA they were giving keys away like candy via Streamer Giveaways and Forum Giveaways, so id wager that same thing will happen again.

*may not be 6 months.

Then you'll be able to play it for free in 6 months. I don't see the issue.

I don't need you to unpack anything for me. However, you seem to know something so how about you unpack it for GGG? Perhaps this game shouldn't be called free-to-play any longer? :)

It's good to see so many brand advocates here, but unfortunately you tend to miss the point of this thread. I'll spin it a bit differently then:
I won't be taking part in EA, but I'm ok with you paying GGG to test their game and get no reward in return if that makes sense to you. And make sure you do a good job testing, since I want a polished product when it comes out next year for me to try it for free. I'll leave it at that.

To GGG:
You got a little too greedy this time, and your paywall will turn away some people sending a wrong message to a broader community.
The rewards is the hunreds of hours of fun playing the game, what else would we need?
