POE 2 early access paywall
With the amount of joy this game has gave me over the past ten plus years, I think the early access fee is more than acceptable. It'll be free later on anyway right? No clue what all the crying is about. GGG is still a company trying to survive on a free access game. Yea, all is good.

"Thank you for a good level-headed thought. Sadly 90% of the PoE Community has been become spoiled and will cry/make death threats and insults to satisfy themselves. |
|
" Yeah GGG is just a poor indie company, not backed by a major corporation. Last edited by Suslikwishmaker#1073 on Nov 24, 2024, 2:34:06 AM

You can play the game for free when it is fully out. If you want to play early access you can support the studio. No one is forcing you to do anything.

" And you think that major corporation is just backing GGG out of sheer goodwill? Bird lover of Wraeclast

30$ that practically not only give you Free Access but 300 points its very good Value.
If you cant give 30$ for a game that you gonna be playing for the next 10 years without needing to give a single cent then you are free to go buddy sorry. Last edited by quodlike#4687 on Nov 24, 2024, 3:13:24 AM

They did this for PoE1. Think of it as a kickstarter campaign to fund the initial launch and recoup costs of the development.
It's not as if the early players are getting a super advantage over everyone else, as the characters will have their own legacy servers. "Minions of your minions are your minion's minions, not your minions." - Mark

" I'd like to point out, as much as I dislike the whole moaning about the early access being paid. What you wrote there is hilariously wrong. Once you spend 30 bucks, to gain access, it's not free access anymore. It's access bought for 30 bucks. :) Other than that, I agree that it's likely going to be great value still. |
