Neither game is nearly fun enough to ignore all the feedback regarding unskippable campaigns.
Then they need to come up with a solution to make the campaign dynamic enough that replayability is no longer an issue. Which, as I said, would require them to engage in some problem solving and game design. Attacking me isn't going to change that.

" Again you havent played poe2 so you wouldnt know anything about that. And this last necrosettlers combo had me staying in the campaign for a bit and I got fracturing shards, a bunch of currency to help with progression, rolling etc... And the last gauntlet event had INSANE boss modifiers. So its not like the developers have no clue how to make the campaign more enjoyable. Its not getting a campaign skip and its been asked for already multiple times, so you are shouting into the void. You should probably approach how you would make something "more dynamic" or "more replayable" rather than leave it up to the devs to figure out. And leave it in the feedback section, plenty of suggestions have seen fruition. Asking for a skip is probably the equivalent of asking the devs to "DISABLE THE GOBLIN PETS" DooBEDoo WAP It aint happening. Noones attacking you. Mash the clean

" Its fundamentally the same gameplay loop with marginally better action combat, the people that made it said its going to take a new player (this is you and I since nobody has played it yet) 25 hours to get through act 3, and then you've got to do that on two difficulties. Sure, they can be off by a large factor, but unless its over 10x then I don't foresee my conclusion being incorrect. People's capacity for necessary repetition is going to follow an inverse square so if they are not off on their estimates by 10x or more then its going to be a very short period in POE2 before people just fall out of leveling alts and experimenting just from the fatigue of the campaign. Quite frankly, I do not believe they're off by 10x in their estimates of how long the campaign will take. So you and I are making the same basic assumption, and that is that they should be believed when they say things. So if your assumption is correct because they said it, then so must mine be as well. The second game could be an order of magnitude more fun than path of exile but if that campaign takes 12 hours for a rush then people are going to feel what I'm talking about quite soon. So either you're wrong for believing what GGG has said or I am wrong for believing what GGG has said or we are both wrong. In any event, I've done my level best through the years to just give them the best feedback I can. Through discussion in this thread we've discussed a basic framework available to implement such a feature, how to gate it behind a campaign completion in a league, alternatives to the feature, and why it needs to happen you can fail to read any that if you want, but I'm not going to consider you part of the conversation until you do. " The answer is: because it's a non-issue. The game has only continued to grow with the addition of leagues and adding new experiences to the existing campaign. Replaying the campaign with new league mechanics has been something that just has never held the game back and seems to be something that many enjoy. Even back in CB of PoE1, when there were only a limited number of acts, you needed to replay the first 3 acts 4 different times for one complete playthrough and the community continued to grow during that time. |

it was 2 acts 4 times then (normal, cruel, merciless, ruthless)
3 acts 3 times then 4 acts 3 times then 10 acts 1 time IGN : Reamus

" It's been a decade, couldn't remember. Either way, it shows that it hasn't slowed the community down from playing the game and even continued to attract new players. Leagues offer new experiences at the start of the game through the campaign - they were the answer to having to repeat the campaign over and over again before end-game. |

Relax guys! you'll get your auction hou..., sorry, campaign skip eventually ;)

" I mean yea this response tells me what I already said "why are you still here?" You have made up your mind that POE2, without even playing it, will have all these issues that you have had for 10 years but want to post about it for some reason. Why? Whats the goal? You have your answers multiple times about campaign skip, recently even, with the answer no. So its not like the trade manifesto and currency exchange situation we had. So anything else that is equally on the same magnitude of that demand you have about the campaign skip, you can piece together will ALSO be no. Sorry you dont enjoy a game's campaign that has not even come out yet. And whatever other problems you have with the game ... that has not come out yet, that you have seemingly come to a conclusion about already. Maybe its time to move on if this is all true about you. " They don't rally need to. PoE 1 is a very successful game and it's had more or less the same campaign since the addition of act 5-10. Some people are tired of it, which is understandable. But to drag that PERSONAL problem over to PoE 2, which HAS a COMPLETELY new way to level, is... Unfair? You want them to, which is fine. But from going from "want" to "need" is a rather large leap, at least when it's solely based on your subjective opinion. Why do they "need" to? For YOU to have more fun? And again; I'm 'sure' you've played through the story of PoE 2 several times, as you seem to know it's not "fun enough". You seem rather predetermine that "acts are boring, a repetitive alternative is always better", which seems very strange to me. Sometimes, just sometimes, you should really consider adapting to the world, instead of demanding that the world adapts to you.

Except I can look at your league challenges and see that you keep quitting leagues during the campaign, happened 7 out of the previous 10 for you if you even played them at all. So please don't try to tell me the campaign is always fun and engaging or worth trudging through every league.
