Upcoming Changes to Sap of the Seasons

what if increase quantity/rarity rates for t17 to whatever appropriate limit you might feel right but deny scarabs and all other fragments to combine with t17? could be a solution to make t16 reasonable again?

gold drops in heist just pathetic, almost 0 per run
I have news for you bro, your overtuned mechanics already forces players to certain builds to reach pinnacle content.
Did you ban all players who exploited and got thousands of Divine Orbs? If not then you can stop pretending you care about fairness for other players.

This company can't get any worse.

Mr. Roberts, this is a great post, thank you for sharing thoughts with the community. Could you please apply same logic you've expressed here to how group MF tactics works in your game?:)

People gather together an aurabot, few MF-capable glass cannons (they have aurabot, so more free space on gear for MF) and an MF culler, get more MF just from being in party, and go printing divs, mirrors, T0 uniques at a rate no "normal" solo player can hope to achieve no matter how many years of playtime invested. Is this not "so overly broken", in your opinion?

solo play is just as effective sometimes even more.
Standard league feels so bad. Ground loot was gutted, barely any scarabs drop. To juice the maps to have okayish loot, you have to spend so much that its barely worth mapping if its even worth. Also maps should be chiseled + deli orbed. 120c for map, 100c for deli orbs, 100-300c for chisels, + have to buy scarabs. Maps became way more difficult because of the type of juice, and rewards became way worse. Last patch standard felt pretty good as a solo player, this patch my mf ranger with a full party feels like i farm blood aqueduct. In standard its not like we can just farm unique items and stack rarity. Its not league, no one wants unique items, standard is flooded with items, so we NEED currency since any meaningful upgrade costs MIRRORS. Instead of balancing the game around people who never see high end endgame content, you should nerf the party play thats abused. Now so many standard players are annoyed and are leaving the game. Its becoming truly dead right now. Make standard good again. Please.

Honestly surprised here how open players are able to voice their honest opinions without getting banned/their posts deleted.

Great reasoning and balancing of this overpowered item.
Kudos to GGG yet again.

Random fluctuations aside, shared loot generation means that party will always be greater than the sum of their stats. Simple math, they offload defenses to aurabot, they have more space to invest in MF and culling. And even a single mirror drop already covers all expenses from "but they have to divide loot by 6!".

I've suggested multiple times, use personal loot generation instead of shared, based on every player's own stats, so MF culling won't be a thing. This won't cause increased server load also, because currently there is already absurd volume of items generated, 99.99% of them immediately filtered out. So reduce quantity of item loot per player, increase average modifier tier per item, and give every player their own loot. Then it will indeed be just as solo loot, aside from combat advantage of playing in party, which is another issue that needs balancing.

So are we going to ban the folks using this build as well? Because clearly they “exploited” the unintended mechanism. Clearly they “ruined” the T17 farming economy.

lol.

The thing itself is not what was wrong that other time, it was what they did with it - that is usually the way it goes.
