Yes, and no.
It's not the players fault for picking a build that, on paper, looks good.
You could pick 100 builds and struggle to clear red maps with them.
But if you are skilled enough to just not pick the bad builds, then you'll have a much better time.

The issue is some build content creators promote terrible builds.
Videos encouraging and baiting players new and old to try out this build "its awesome" when in actual fact, it's nothing but hot garbage.

There are tried and tested builds, people stick to them and have a good time because they know it works and how to build it.

I've spent 30div on an SRS enormity, minion instability build and was struggling to clear content.
Spent 60+ div on a holy relic of conviction build, much easier to clear content.
Spend 10 div on a relic of the pact build and it can clear ubers.
The build you pick directly impacts the experience you'll have in the game.

I picked bleed ES ... where there is a whopping 0 build guides out there for and ... 5 other people on the highscores for.

Already showed investment and it does all the content in the game.


Roll a proper build, stop blaming other things, including build creators, for your issues.

Sure so go onto youtube. Or twitch at league start either or.

Type Ziziaran, Steelmage, Alkaizer, Lilly, Ben, Goratha, Ruetoo, Carn, CaptainLance, Jungroan, Subtractem, and the words POE build after any of those names.


If you managed to have trouble with any of the builds these players create you made a wrong turn or didnt follow their build guides.

Theres also places like maxroll and poevault.

Theres also ninja if you are struggling with a skill of your own to compare.

If you want to ignore all of these than refer to "you should probably make a proper build or its on you"

I've been doing that, religiously. Every build on my account has been from following some youtube guide or looking at things on poeninja.
You think I came up with these builds myself? hell no.
I follow ghazzy mostly, to the best of my ability.
Made a few Jungroan builds, few Subtractem builds but often get stuck trying to get progenesis, nimis.
Do I need to refer you to my post from necropolis where I tried 13+ builds and all of them failed?

1) Your Character, The build guide you followed

And then we will check to see if that actually happened or not.


Make sure to also include whatever build guide you are following that is telling you it requires progenesis or .... Nimis.

Id also like to see what guide this SRS Enormity is from that you were struggling with a couple days ago. Was it one of Ghazzys?

You mean you will say once more how you chose an archetype with early accessible and easy to scale defenses, then chose easy to scale main skill in the area that received most buffs from GGG this patch, then added 10 years personal experience with poe, so you can crush T17?

And since you can crush T17, obviously there cannot be any issues with T17, any average Joe should be getting same results as you on any T16-viable build, correct?:) After all, there is "no difference between T14 and T17"
