Never presume the insane complexity that is path of exile. There are a tonne of changes, passive skill tree typically takes primary so regardless of how long it takes to do the features you're waiting for, consider that there are a myriad of other features that others are waiting for.

Also consider that they provide this service, free of charge, for the entire commmunity, not any individual.

Developing code is difficult to estimate for, whilst it may appear simple on the outside. Without understanding all the impacts, implementing features especially new ones the devs need to test before deployment.

You could also assume that all the devs booked this time off from their lives to dedicate themselves, knowing the content would be out this week. But alas the devs are human and potentially had life get in the way.

PoB is maintained by players in their freetime unpaid.

Asking for them to essentially 'hurry up' while they're likely at their IRL job or sleeping while you contribute absolutely nothing whatsoever is entitled.

In fact, it is so entitled that in other gaming communities but also PoE, people have gotten their access to similar tools (like economy spreadsheets or addons) removed or these tools in its entirety disabled because of such arrogant statements.

It is simply a really dumb thing to do.

there is a world of a difference between saying "it would be nice for it to be ready" and asking why they don't hurry up and release it already like they owe you anything.

seems like the ELI5 didn't help you understand this either. no one here is "crying" about it but you are getting the deserved response for your honestly uncalled for words.

yes, it would be nice if PoB update was ready. but you literally have zero expertise in programming. you admit so yourself. you also don't know anything about how PoB works, nor can you even estimate how much work it takes to do anything. because again, you don't know how to code.

if anything, people are being nicer to you than the situation calls for.

i still think you get to offended by such a small issue...are u working at pob to get so personally offended cause i dont know programming and said something that seemed to you i was acting like i do ?

i actually recommend pob to absolutly everyone who might not know, or im sure they dont know about it, and have nothing bad to say about it...but u might see it as bad when i say "hurry up" like i said to bomb the planet and actually mean it...

anyway...i wonder what filterblade is doing...

If there was ever a person to hard code into POB that can't generate data based on their account.... it was this guy.
