Well easy:

Rich Guy buys out everything and then just resells it for more like in every other game where an auctionhouse is.
Even with an extra cost people do that in EVERY single game where it exists.
People thinking price fixer losing money with doing that are actually unaware.

That might work for very rare low quantity things, but that is not what we are talking about here. What we are reffering to is volume trade pricefixing. People will list a 100 of double corrupt temples (locus of curruption) for like 50c when in reality those are worth more like ~1.5-2dv (~300-400c). This way when you search for double corrupts on the site you would only see the 50c one cause the site has max 100 results. This tricks people into listing their temples for 50c. Fixer ignores all incoming trade msgs and proceeds to buyout all the temples with woops for 50c. Happens all the time with all kind of items. An instant buyout trade system would render this kind of fixing impossible.

Agreed, but you are also unaware that you can just set the price to 51c, if there is a pricefixer who floods the searches with 100 items worth 50c each. If you do this, then you can see the real result. A lot of people like to complain, but don't find solutions. Of course, our trading system has flaws, but you can work around it.
