mageblood just too op

It also crutches builds that shouldn't work which again is dumb, the success or failure of a build is important as an aspirational stage and just getting to crutch it because 70% of your stats come from your belt is idiotic.

I'm gonna have to push back on this one. Build diversity should be a lot more important in Path of Exile, to encourage people to mix and match combinations of skills they might like, and still succeed in the game. As of late, GGG's been neglecting a lot of skills that are only good as secondary skills to buff main skills at best, or completely non-viable at worst.

Take Scorching Ray for example. For a time, the skill was strong enough on its own to tackle all of the endgame content. Now? It's only good for buffing Righteous Fire. I wouldn't even know how flasks would fix it, but if it becomes powerful again with Mageblood, I can understand why people would covet the item so much.

That being said, I don't think we should be relying on OP chase uniques to make certain skills fun and capable of competing with whatever is the current meta.
PoE players: Our game has a wide diversity of builds.

Also PoE players: The [league mechanic] doesn't need to be nerfed, you just need to play a [current meta] build!

MFers found strength in their Afflictions. They became reliant on them. I am not so foolish.
I think they should delete or temporarily remove for a league mageblood, headhunter, nimis, original sin, and ralakesh impatience if they are responsible for holding back balance changes.

These items just do too much, and so many builds either barely function or just don't work without them.

Like chase unique are fine but these items are a bit beyond the budget of what 1 item slot should do, imo.
Post is pretty odd...

All I am seeing is:

What the hell are you talking about? If your build sucks without a mageblood your build is plain bad in general. I could buy a mageblood today but this league I don't even care because my build is more than strong enough. And I don't even use expensive gear or special flasks. These are good enough:

Seriously if you think a mageblood would solve your problems with a bad build adding one to your build would most likely have you end up with a build that wasted 150-180 div and still sucks.

Nerfing chase items...
If at all we need more of these lol. MOAR CHASE ITEMS!!
How about just nerfing the useless +% "increased effect" modifier given by Enkindling Orb ?

Gains no Charges during Effect
(60-70)% increased effect

Gains no Charges during Effect
(30-35)% increased effect

That would please ALOT of people I'm sure ... lololol
Headhunter was kind of king for such a long time some people developed an aversion to it because of its power over other items it would heavily dominate some leagues but with the addition of more chase items i feel only further encouraged to perhaps try some of them or attempt farming them.

I'm among the people who posted against headhunter for a very long time but my opinions changed as the game itself has evolved to go beyond the headhunter and even have content which it no longer is king of the hill in.

Really want to see some new chase items but perhaps ones more closely related to the exiles themselves perhaps even a fragment of their former lives before persecution.

I hope they can figure out the Mageblood stuff, It does seem a bit OP sometimes but as long as its sufficiently rare that does somewhat balance it out at least in my opinion.

Just put in the time to grind the currency and buy one. Until then, a well rolled stygian vise with proper flask is just fine for meta builds to run t17 and for pretty much any build to do t16.

I can understand where you are coming from this and I agree with you, but I'm a bit ruthless about the methods that some problems should be fixed and scorching ray being garbage shouldn't require a daft item to fix as an overwhelming majority of people won't use it for scorching ray still they will use it to make the best skills even better.

Instead they should fix scorching ray (which they should)

Itemisation should be to make gearing for a skill interesting, not to make it viable to begin with.

The enkindle effect isn't useless. Yes, it is mostly used by MB users, but it is also used by non-MB glass cannon bossers.
