All problems and strategies this and previous league were caused by Magic Find - time to remove it

My idea is that people should not be shoehorned to play into Magic Finding in order to take full advantage of the economy of the game. Magic find would be okay, if making yourself weaker would actually matter. Right now, it doesn't.

What about adjusting drop rates of items but disabiling mf\quant for a league as a test? Its been a very long time since they've done something like this but it was possible in the past.

For "obvious" reasons they would have to disallow pulling race rewards into temp leagues too.

....and yet you create a post like this railing against one way for less-than-perfect players such as yourself to improve their own "solo" experience in the game. Presumably, YOU are not using these so-called abusive mf systems to gather your wealth, otherwise you likely wouldn't be bashing them, so you are living breathing proof that you are NOT shoehorned into mf, you are NOT forced in any way to use mf to gather massive amounts of wealth.

They've already done that with the "rare monsters have rewards" scarab which disables MF gear. They clearly understand that the dynamic can go overboard, but some how are so confident that they'll be able to balance it during the league.

And so we now sit on 19 Divine Headhunters and 1 Divine squires - the legendary iconic items belong to the dump tab now.

Yes, I am not saying that the scarab solves something, but rather that GGG is aware of it and should know that it's an issue, but still somehow find so much confidence in themselves to allow MFing in it's current form to exist.

Well I do have to worry about you....because you are fundamentally wrong right from the start. MF is not the problem, it isn't this league and it wasn't last league. The PROBLEMS that resulted in these crazy loot explosions that you see other people getting are:
1) Party Play bonuses
2) League mechanics
3) Atlas Passives
and how the 3 of these things interact to create 20x+ more loot. NONE of these have anything to do with "mf" as a stat.

A random player popping on their best mf gear and farming is not going to see more than 2 or 3x loot gains at MOST.

Saying that I am fundamentally wrong doesn't make me wrong.

1) Players who solo MF can easily obtain 10x a non-party players loot - party or not - just a mathematical reality. Without party play, this still remains.

2 & 3) It's better to remove the 1% players MF mechanics than League mechanics for 100% of the players.

Yes, 2-3x loot is also fundamentally bad.
