Instant buyouts confirmed in PoE 2
" Not to be nit-picky, but this will cause MORE price fixing, because entire stocks of certain items can be bought instantly to be re sold at a higher price. However yes what I think you're referring too, where items are listed erroneously high or low to trick others, will go away. |

" it doesnt stop there. there are many angles against the friction. 1. ggg introduced a lot of content that the player cannot immediately exit from easily. 2. player has stopped playing the game and thus the item is "voided" indirectly 3. price fixing 4. scammers. they would easily dismiss all of em. the thing i find the most egregious is that they would actually victim blame players for getting scammed. like nani le fuck. zero empathy. they rather have the game be hard and punishing and UNENJOYABLE as possible rather than have the game be more fun /friendly. even when melee is bad and people complain about melee is bad, they would say no its fine, quit whining. even when GGG themselves sacrificed poe1 to make poe2 more melee centric and even with GGG themselves humbly admitting that poe1 melee is bad, these people would still say naaah melee is fine. its exactly as what asmongold says. people want to keep things crappy the way they are because it makes them feel better. if things were easier, people would get to where they are more easily and they would no longer feel special. that really is on the nose. There is so many weird, noobish and entitled theories/demands here it is quite funny. Even d4 devs know that trade needs a friction if players get plenty of loot - or you can gut the loot and make trade easier (like GGG stated in trade manifesto). One or the other, not both. People will always complain and always fail at something - like trade in PoE is perfectly safe, it require to check the item that is trade for, before it can be accepted - so player can only scam himself by accepting the item he/she checked… Yet dev is to blame?
Biggest compliments for my crafted items - "bs, they must have been RMT'ed" I'm disabled, I have rare case of semperduravera, so I can write things that may look rude, but it is because of disability - I'm forced to tell truth using words you may not like. Only point is that the item you checked and accepted is the item you checked and accepted. Also nice vibe for dark fantasy.

Who knows, game is not out yet, but I’m glad that there is someone who will tell me already will I like it or not. At this point it could be 0/10, 10/10 or anything in between. They might implement easier trade and limit amount of loot, as is their reasoning in trade manifesto. It will be easier to corner the market and pricefix, that for sure.

I bet they will make gold prices scale with how many items you have listed in a set amount of time.
Some sort of weird ratio that will be annoying to minmax. |

having gold account bound would help wonder in this case
Flames and madness. I'm so glad I didn't miss the fun.

As I understand it, gold & vendor npcs are designed as a fail safe to rng droughts when it comes to progession and finding upgrades, and overall reduction to the loot clutter.
It will not be the endgame min/max savior, but it should alleviate the huge gap we have in PoE1, and eliminate the insane amount of useless drops we now filter out. I've always maintained that we shouldn't have to pay other Exiles for our gear, or have a 5 minute crafting sessions be more effective than days of grinding. This is supposed to be a loot finding game after all. That said trading should be part of the game. It just needs to be far less important and mechanically less difficult than it is now. Of course that's my view on it, but I'd think most players want to find their own gear, and trade what they don't need for currency. Right now PoE1 is all fucked up in that regard, so I'm interested to see what they have in store with the gold system, and public trade options.
