POLL: Did Exilecon increase or decrease your overall hype for POE and POE 2?
can some big "tactital" gameplay enthusiast point me towards a arpg/hackandslash that does that ? because this is a grinding game, and you tell me you re going to grind while heavily focus on your combat ? i can see that for bosses but for grinding ? makes me think of undecember bosses btw. lots of good bosses.
but the grinding in this game is as i said the grinding, nothing tactical.
Didn't change anything. It's still far away and there might be a lot more changes coming. Making two different games makes more sense than just adding an alternative campaign that leads to the same endgame.

big increase

Increase, the biggest downer for me is that PoE2 is still a year out. But it looks really fun. I love the bigger emphasis on boss fights and actually interacting with monsters rather than just blowing up whole screens and going fast as possible.
At this point I think splitting the games is a good idea. PoE1 can remain more zoomy and largely about making builds. And PoE2 can have more interactive and challenging gameplay while also having the crazy depth of PoE builds. My biggest concern is the potential for PoE1 to be left in the dust. It doesn't need every new system and update that PoE2 gets but hopefully some things transfer over. And hopefully PoE1 just gets some more attention in general now that Exilecon is over and they hopefully are not as crunched.

poe1 a roadtrip fun with friends.
poe2 a roadblock tedious cue. Impressions are huge red flags from exilexcon. movespeed. 3 combos refill flasks in town poe1 simply is better mechanically. |
