32:9 ultra wide support gone!

Count me as another of the many voices. League looks nice. I love the game. I'm among the many that play seasonally and buy a few things here and there but this feels ridiculous.

If you have to break it, at least lock our inventory and character panes over there or something. This is such a strange feature to go so backward on.

What we seeing today

So Bex plays with no Black Bars but we all get Black Bars also its not our fault some of us bought a better Monitor for a game we enjoy yet u remove the support for it because other users didn't like that we had a advantage nd because u claim the visual bugs were a problem yet none of us ever complained about it because it was a minor issue, I'm assuming most of the development team uses ultrawide I wonder if they have black bars as well or if unlike us they don't which makes no sense but the fact Bex has a screenshot of her with a ultrawide probably a Odyssey G9 nd it literally shows the centered UI option but when it came out oh we have black bars with the centered UI option so what happened that she posted screenshot of it yet the black bars are there for everyone on Ultrawide be it on 2560x1080 or higher resolution nd saying u forgot to put it in the patch notes yet when u did the Reveal Video nd showed everything that was getting added u literally showed the center UI option nd we didn't see any black bars ur really going to say that it is working as intended or supposed to be I have very small Black Bars on 2560x1080 its annoying to look at but not as bad compared to everyone else on a higher resolution this need to be fixed if I wanted to play with Black Bars on my screen I would go play Elden Ring with its no Ultrawide Support

Everyone crying about people who could see more with larger monitors need to shut up. If you had a larger monitor or tried/played with one you would be on the other side of this discussion with us not against us
Bumping and keeping this topic alive because this needs to be reverted.
Like many others we quit day one of this patch after spending hours trying to make the Fullscreen work.
Fix it asap

I personally don't own an ultrawide monitor, but a good friend of mine does and currently can't play or doesn't want to with the black bars. And can't blame them for that. But between playing PoE on my own or another game with ultrawide support with my friend, its the other game 100% of the time. If I'm not playing I'm not buying any more packs or tabs or cosmetics. It effects more people than just a small % of people with those monitors is my point.

Please just fix it, for my friend and everyone else with issues. It's not very good to go from one day its fine to the next unplayable with nothing in the patch notes. And these people have spent a lot for a nice setup. Please just revert it.

Ha, I requested a refund for my 2 supporter packs over this, which got rejected because it was 55 hours, and they only refund in the first 48 hours. (which is against EU laws on digital purchases btw, since that states 14 days, but whatever).

Guess I'll just not pay for the next couple of supporter packs instead.

The worst surprise to coming back and see this change...

Samsung Odyssey 5120x1440 here, game was flawless in 3.18

PLEASE fix this, I have zero motivation to play the game right now.

I just got into this game, spent like $80 on MTX and you took away my aspect ratio :(

Please support the wide screen ratios again
