Character Balance in Path of Exile: Lake of Kalandra

This is not a game for everyone anymore. Punish the casuals who don't have 10h a day and just want to enjoy the game. You put harder monster in the game and nerf the build that can kill them to make player grind hard to get decent gears to kill them. You need 24/7 then....
I continue to not understand your logic GGG, you find something is used too much and what do you do, nerf it so the people that enjoined have to stop playing it. Instead of nerfing it why dont you make other skill that are useless or not played playable???

People have limited time, do not try to take more of their time, because you think it is good idea. By that logic imagine you have 8 hours work day, will you like to work 20 hours and then the next year 22 hours, because someone thinks that more work hours is better for you and they have ''Vision'' how long you should work? It is like you want to make the game for someone that plays 12 hours per day and give him more time to waste, because he doesnt have what else to do anyway.

As people said stop creating problems where there is none, people are different and like different things, if someone like specific build and wants to play only that build let the build alone.

You keep adding new skills and items in the game, guess what, things will never be balanced and they dont have to be, this is in essence farming simulator game, you move, do damage, repeat, no matter how you change things this will be the core. Let the people decide for them selves how they like to farm.

The game is awesome, but you keep trying to push the players away for some bizzare reason, do not force the people to play the game the way you want...

If that is your ''Vision'' for the game you should prepare for new vision, one without player base.

Pretty good all in all! I think you could have taken the opportunity to buff so many more skills not only by a very cosmetic margin. All strike skills need much more love...

Edit: Minion nerfs need an edit. Looks like most of them are pretty dead now. Thats too much to be honest...

nice =) i like it XD
Nerfed mana reservation. Nerfed minions. No fun.
I see a bigger nerf on arakaalis fang occultist. Played the build this league (prior to lake) and it didn't seem as strong as other minion builds on the same lower tier of investment. Maybe it is a lot stronger with the squire, however at that point of investment those nerfs probably aren't as impactful.

GGG philosophy:

Problem: Players gravitate toward fun to play, well-performing skills

Solution: Nerf hammer all of the good skills, and turd-polish the unused skills

My solution: Leave the good skills where they are. And either makeover the clunky and under-performing skills that no one is using with better, more interesting mechanics, or just remove them all together. I'd prefer to get rid of them since it will declutter skill pool and simplify balancing.

At this point, PoE just needs to go through and revamp each and every skill, remove some boring unused ones and add some new interesting ones. I doubt this would happen since PoE 2 will be out in the next 2 years
I understand needing to nerf charge-when-hit flasks, but why lower the charges granted instead of implementing a cooldown? Why pigeonhole the player into getting hit even more instead of opening some cool interactions with defensive cooldowns while also snubbing any potential abuse cases? It seemed like a no-brainer to me.
So can I have my money back for the Skeleton MTX since i'll never used the skill agaiN?
