What option I have to obtain watchstone from Maven since I never defeat Maven?
As per title, is it hiring "carry" for defeat Maven for me is the only way to obtain watchstone in 3.17 Siege Atlas?
Also not too sure about the new mini and bosses whether they will have equal difficulty as Maven. might not make it to the T16 for the first time...lol Last edited by SoFastx#6379 on Feb 1, 2022, 4:55:17 AM Last bumped on Feb 10, 2022, 9:22:10 AM

The question more is : Do you need the whole atlas to be T16?
It's just one of the bottom row maps that won't be T16 for you and one sextant that can't be applied. You couldn't get all T16 in the game before, why would that now suddenly be mandatory to have. This is also a typical case of FOMO, or rather pre-FOMO, the league isn't even out yet and the internet is already full of people having this fear the game is ruined because they can't have the maximum the game has to offer. Heck if you don't want to do a carry your only option is to learn the fight, and try until you succeed. As simple as that. |

adapt and conquer.
Learn skills, get better and overcome the challenge. Beating the bosses is basically learn their mechanics. |

It take time to collect the Maven splinter and not cheap to buy. hence, very scare to practice even have only one orb. I think I got it, not every game made for lowest casual player. See if this time I got any chance to try again.

" You dont need any of the Orbs to get to T16. The Orbs will only make your atlas have additional T16 Maps. |

You get T16s on the atlas without voidstones and you dont have to defeat any non map boss for it.
The first 2 voidstones are easy to get. If you cannot defeat maven (why? the fight is not hard) buy a carry. Please stop whining about the game, the problem is you, not the game. Just because I'm paranoid doesn't mean they're not out to get me. Last edited by KalHirol#0543 on Feb 1, 2022, 7:09:01 AM

" Sextants I think is the only reason u should get at least 2 or 3 stones. In the end if on softcore is not that dificult. Just practice a lil bit the normal mechs and die in every memory game u will still be able to complete. |

There is zero watchstone in 3.17
For voidstone, just hire boss carry. Unless GGG nerfed the boss , there is no chance except the 1% that have gull gear, more specialised build to beat it This is the start of forum signature: I am not a GGG employee. About the username: Did you know Kowloon Gundam is made in Neo Hong Kong?

I think this just highlights the disconnect GGG has with the average player. If you look at the percentages of players that have killed Maven (myself included), its ridiculously low. Even with paid carries.
I fully understand aspirational content, and the need for it, but it shouldn't be gatekeeping content for average players. It should be optional, with rewards tied to the challenge. Since when is unlocking the Atlas to tier 16 aspirational? This isn't a case of FOMO. Its literally a poor design decision that benefits no one. The 1%'ers were always going to do whatever GGG tossed up for endgame, but this decision means that the vast vast majority of players wont get their atlas to full t16 (which was very easy with watchstone, you never even needed to kill Sirus) Maybe they are trying to incentivize Maven (with awakened gems too), but I dont understand why given a new endgame and 4 bosses to interact with. I like it... And I don't like it.
I like the (casual friendly) fact that you don't need a single stone to be able to progress to T16 maps. I like the fact that you don't have to play watchstone solitaire to progress or use sextants. I like the fact that sextants are global, and atlas regions are gone. That said, I've always viewed sextants as a progression-tool, to acquire enough currency/power to progress to the point of beating the Maven, Uber Elder or whatever. It's a strange move to move sextants to after that stage. Why do you need sextants when every bad boss has already been beaten? I'm a casual. I have limited play time. And I usually spend a long time to beat Maven and Uber Elder. It will be very strange to play most of the league without access to Voidstones and sextants. Sometimes, just sometimes, you should really consider adapting to the world, instead of demanding that the world adapts to you. Last edited by Phrazz#3529 on Feb 1, 2022, 10:39:13 AM
