It's difficult yeah. The problem for me isn't the difficulty, it's the lack of utilities to beat the overall game. Removing all the power did affect every single build, and I find it much more difficult to make any of my builds work after shifting around certain things.
Things like axe damage should be hit and not strictly physical damage hit. There's lots of specialized weapons clusters, all of which are easily replaced by a jewel cluster with notables. A lot of the game's build problems can be resolved by removing a single passive node in the sections, and juicing up a notable to replace it. Especially nodes that serve little to no purpose (I'm looking at you max fortify +1). Another solution would be to make most damage "on hit" or "spell" damage, rather than specializing it as "melee physical," and the like. That would open up a great deal of new weapon combinations in builds, and produce a lot of new viable builds. You find most elemental damage just to be boosting raw elemental. Yet all the physical is this, melee physical, and the like. So you can't just, b-line via your bow or projectile build, giving yourself some added juice instead of being forced into a jewel cluster. "hit," "spell," "projectile" "physical," "elemental," "chaos" The fact that everything is insanely separated by these types of specifics, is one of the main reasons why the build diversity is so bad in the physical damage dealer sections. You're better off just grabbing a dual element melee weapon and specializing into "hit" and "element" with conversions, rather than even touching melee physical. Its not, skills are bad because the difference between scaling multipliers is enormous, some builds crutch particular mechanics to cover the cracks sure but most skills are there because their base gem type + scaling options are drastically superior to everything else. Your problem with 2h builds isn't lack of 2h nodes, its that you require a 800pdps weapon as your base scaling level but also have far more defensive/skill usability requirements vs meta skill X. Like i'm gonna put this out here guys to demonstrate this point cause its better than anything I can actually say, they buffed every spell by 50% and it barely changed the landscape, that tells you the size of the problem with scaling opportunities. I think its numerically the largest buff they've done and its touching on acceptable values for the better mechanical skills. They should do the same thing with strikes, we'd see a tiny bit more usage for those of us that like the playstyle but again wouldn't change overall skill choices right now. What GGG need to accept is undesirable skills will be undesirable even with substantially better damage, however a few players who enjoy dealing with mechanical drawbacks or a particular weird playstyle may use them if the damage is there for them to do so. If that damage isn't there for them to do so nobody uses a skill except those that don't know and those on a pet project, that's just wasted resources. If their fear is players doing 40m damage ignoring all their content i've got news for them, they already do but not all of us stack damage forever. Everything has a goldilocks value and the viability of X almost always comes at the cost of Y. Last edited by Draegnarrr#2823 on Mar 26, 2022, 7:36:12 AM

in ultimatum league i did sweep (melee) and got to lvl99 without any xp runs. it was suffering but i still managed.
maybe you guys should just improve ur builds. `Spent 2 mirrors on my build, but I'm only Level 98.` LOL
`From just quick sweep of your characters, toxic rain, golems .. sure, non meta... sure.` LOL |

" Literally Raise Spectre is in one of the best states it has ever been in and Banking still works just fine up to your maximum limit, Can you explain to me why you need more than 6-7 spectres? Desecrate is also not losing its corpses anymore up to the limit of your raise spectre. whats the actual problem here? I play Raise Spectre pretty much every league if not several times a league on different builds and unless you're trying to do something with PvP i don't get the complaint. please help me understand. Innocence forgives you Last edited by SilentSymphony#3358 on Mar 26, 2022, 9:25:06 AM

i for one think nerfs needed to happen. players had too much power and their dps are in millions range, there was a time when doing 500k dps was considered godlike.
my main issue is that ggg took away player power but did not weaken their end game content to compensate [Removed by Support]
