Now that you mentioned Trauma - I have to say I don't recall a single situation where I was obviously "suffering" from it. The highest number of stacks I ever had was 19 (in a breach) and even then I couldn't notice big hits to my health. Perhaps I'm missing something?

I setup the build to be able to mitigate around ~90% phys of a 10k enemy hit. That's the equivalent of 34 Trauma stacks at 286 Trauma Dmg. per stack, so yes 19 stacks should be safe.

BUT! This depends on how much Armour/Endurance Charges you have at the time, so your mileage may vary.

I suggest you import your toon into PoB and set it up as usual and in the Config page you can set the "Enemy Hit Damage" to see how much you are able to mitigate. You'll want to check the "Phys. Damage Reduction" with your current setup.

Cool, thanks for the advice. But I assumed that the build is tough enough to withstand that. I have 7 Endurance charges, BTW, and that obviously helps too.

Ya, you're doing fine!

BTW, that Cinderswallow you're using does nothing besides the Heal/Regen; we can't Ignite with Brutality.

Any reason you don't use Lion's Roar? I would grab that instead, or a nice Magic flask of your choice.
3.17 Splitting Steel > Boneshatter PoE-Roadmap

Hi Guys,

Here's a PoE-Roadmap that gives you a checklist of Splitting Steel + Boneshatter gems to buy, from who and when and also a bunch of gear options you can usually grab for cheap early on:

https://poe-roadmap.com/build/74713

This should make leveling a breeze!

GL with League Start and drops!

No, I added it only towards the end of 3.16. This build didn't rely on the Hydrosphere + Melee Splash cheese.

You can still run Melee Splash without Hydro for mapping and it will feel great!
3.17 Splitting Steel Starting Maps Gear

Hi Guys,

Just did my first map and wanted to update you guys on how I'm looking:

This is all SSF gear, including the Sin's Rebirth.

DPS is feeling great! One shotting packs left and right ;)

3.17 Updated Boneshatter PoB

Hi Guys,

PoB is finally updated, so here's my 3.16 toon imported with all the gear options for you to choose:

https://pobb.in/CK-lAyafVr4M

BTW, pobb.in is the new pastebin replacement. You can actually click on this URL and it will give you an overview of the build and a button for you to open it directly in PoB. So nice and convenient!

I think you're posting on the wrong guide buddy. This is a Boneshatter build, not Archmage here...
