if anything aged poorly it is the change GGG did.
AR roll on items are 100% worthless. you get SO MUCH more from non-gear sources that wasting prefixes on AR is just stupid. this part of 'rework' is a complete flop. and it couldnt have ended as anything else when you want people to pick between '+1 gems' and 'some armour'.. ffs what choice is that? flask changes. rolling flask is artificial orb sink now but the results can be good: who needs AR gear when you can have this then there is the 'determination is popular'.. 4k AR for free? sure, why not. aura changes are very generous and most builds dont really have more than 1 damaging auras anyway. so you get defence from aura and are free to pick stuff that matters from gear. it doesnt change the FACT that you can drop all AR and it will make the least visible difference. block/evasion/suppression/fortify ALL do much more because end-game content is pretty much all-elemental ill try how pure AR + max res + 2h character feels next. i bet it flops and im sure doing harvest is out of the question |
