No, I am not a Vodofone customer so i can't make support tickets with them.

GGG already replied that so far IBM hosting hasn't been able to get in contact with "high tier" support and have posted a template for Vodofone customers to use when contacting Vodofone.

So if you are a Vodafone customer, you should make a support ticket with them and post on their social media accounts about what they have done here (blocking IBM hosting in Asia + not being truthfull about this "issue" when contacted by customers)....

The game is using port 6112, but it is affecting all connections.

This site is hosted in IBM's Seoul DC and is accessible from other EU ISPs.

1st: Not loading for me of course.

2nd: Nothing we as normal customers do will ever have any effect. I closed my support ticket, where I provided all the information and many details (like "tracert" results and so on) about the problem, after the random support guy who of course had no idea what an IP range even is offered to send me a new router for the 17th time...

I can with 100% certainty tell you, that the only way this rather big problem will be fixed is if you or your provider manage to get through to Vodafone.

EDIT: https://poe.game.daum.net/ fails to load with an "ERR_TIMED_OUT" reply. But sometimes Chrome automatically retries to make the connection in certain intervals and eventually after a few minutes the website loads. But not always. Sometimes it just seems to give up after the first failed attempt. Which is a very weird result to me.

While the issue with Vodafone can't be resolved, there is something GGG can do in a future patch to mitigate problems like these. I hope they see my suggestion and implement a function that checks the connection first before sending you into an eternal loading screen. That way at least attempted trades etc. don't always have to be fixed with alt F4. I think this would be a good addition to the game no matter what the outcome of this particular connection problem is.

but i would guess, that we have to live with it forever, since i think vodafone dont care about it(atleast i get the feeling when i was talking with normal customer support about it), because its for them only a few hundred of customers in europe.

Pretty much this. Vodafone is thankfully pretty reliable where I live and in 7 years I only had 1 mayor issue, but their customer service is terrible. I am 99% sure that the person who accepts and handels the tickets has 0 idea what it even means and what the problem is about. Sadly this also means that trade league will be partially unplayable for people with this issue.

They're not lying. They're just incompetent. I once talked to 9 people during a single call because they knew neither which department was responsible for my issue nor how to connect me to the department they thought was responsible.

On another occasion, it took six months, a multitude of calls and two visits from technicians to get them to fix connection issues caused by one of their nodes dropping packages. If what their hotline told me back then was true, their ticketing system doesn't even have a box to record that kind of complex information. So don't hold your breath on getting a quick fix for this.

Apparently the connection isn't blocked completely because I receive a cool 85 bytes before it's killed. This seems to be consistent. I get those 85 bytes pretty much instantly, and then nothing else happens until the connection eventually times out.
