0.9.9 Information

Working my way through normal difficulty of 0.9.9 on the alpha realm. A lot has changed. Normal white monsters cast curses and use skills and have other abilities. Status ailments are common. I like how getting hit with Puncture gives you the tactical choice of running away and taking massive damage or standing still and getting swarmed. I died eight times to Merveil before I crafted myself some cold resist gear and managed to beat her. Very interesting patch.

Yea... new Merviel is soo nasty :)

What about hc mode? if dying is so regular, do you expect any 70lv in hc? Are there more passive points to spend than in 9.9.8?

Glad they removed aof then :)
No way in hell someone would be able to beat merveil lol
Makes me think were still missing a healing spell in this game =)

I know.. no-one ever used it but I specialized a lv 90 paladin to spam holy bolt and FoH, and heal like Mad.

Fun times.

I would LOVE to have a healing spell. I'd use it alot especially if I could heal minions and party members as well as just myself.

haha i was just thinking we were missing some heal abilities/spells in this game as well :)
Templar should get a healing node instead of AoF and some healing spells like life regen aura, normal heal, life regen buffs etc

Personally, I expect a lot more " RIP " spam in the HC chat.. which is, of course, a good thing. :)
