CreateShaderResourceViewEx: Wrong Parameter

I updated my driver. And there has been no problem since that.

Sorry, but it is that. You are running DirectX 11 on your system but with 10_1 features. If you Run>DxDiag you will see Direct3D DDI:11, but Features Level:10_1, 10_0,9_3... Also in the Client.txt logs in PoE you will see:

"[D3D11] Runtime version = 11.0
[D3D11] Feature Level = 10.1" or similar.

You both have Win7 and a Directx 10.1 that doesn't support "CreateShaderResourceView" which is a Win8+ and DirectX 11.1 function. According to Google Radeon HD 5000+ series have DirectX 11.

Yeah my 12 year old 9800GT is up to DX10.0 feature level. All we want to know is if this is intentional and its no longer supported or GGG just screwed something up.

Im a bit afraid its time to finally say goodbye to PoE :( And I like this game even with 15-20fps I get on average...

I've got Windows 10 and DirectX 12 and it still doesn't run..
Bummed to say the least... played pretty much every day for the last year+ and massively (for me) upgraded my system in january specifically for this game, including ram, ssd and best new (used) video card i could find that would work with my motherboard.

but yup: dx11 with d10 features according to log:

I have no explanation, sorry. Run DxDiag and see if you running DirectX 11 with DirectX 11.1 features or try switching to Vulkan.
The DXDiag says DirectX 12. I can't even get into the game to do anything, As soon as I click the icon on my desktop it loads up a black screen with the error message.
Any updates please ???

I feel like they won't be able to fix it since it's been several days and there has been no comment from GGG.

"We're working on it."

"You guys might need better hardware."

"We're not planing to address this issue anytime in the near future, since we are working on more important things."

Literally just copy paste one of these so we know what's happening.

Any answer would b great.
