The Multi-box Thread: How it ruins the game.
" Alright let me do the same I knew you couldn't come up with a proof.Thank you for proving yourself wrong. |

" You will never see a man faking anger, passion and relentless behavior.
You will always see a man faking love, politeness and respectful behavior. |

" I will never be able to proove my statement short of demonstrating it IRL. You will never be able to proove that my statement is wrong. If I would post a video you would simply write "*lol* he chose the runs where he was lucky". My intention was to show other players a way to compete with multiboxers. Your intention is ... what? Insult me? Now for the fun part: do you seriously believe that the items that we posted are even remotely comparable? Your helm is really nice but do you think anyone would ever mirror it??? And - ah - as for the mid tier amulet that you posted: I did not even bother to post this before because I was focussing on the high end stuff. Oh, and while I am at it, does your build not profit from quality gems? I think you need to step up your farming a bit. May I suggest some docks runs? The did the trick for me. |

There is so much fail in this thread.
Failure to understand the way orb prices fluctuate Failure to understand what you can expect to get while multiboxing, or multiloading. Failure to realize how impactful botter boards are. Failure to realize how impactful RMT sites are. Failure to comprehend how much.currency some players gained from early trading. |

A lot of big QQ in this thread.
Why you should try Harcore http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/209310/page/1

The loot system is random but the multiboxers are not, can atleast do something about them first. and maybe the randomness might not seem so bad anymore. but hey..screw that, lets just keep adding fancy helmets and weapon glows because everyone knows that fixes games, right GGG?
This game will end up like Global Agenda, no fixes but keep adding helmet flares and soak up as much money before they close it. |

Good post OP, and thanks for theses screenshots, 500+ orbs of chaos in one tab, wow... I didn't know how unbalanced multiboxing could be.
I have a ranger 60 and a summoner 80, i dropped a total of 2 exalted and ~20Chaos, i thought i was lucky. As long as GGG does nothing about that, i'll just consider that the economy in poe is dead and i will not bother to open trade chat anymore... |

" Now that's some multi-boxing that I'd love to get into ;) |

Agreed and for others; a quick TLDR:
TLDR: Multiboxing Fucks the economy and the "common" player by causing multiboxers to get rich and therefore drive up the price of items making it nearly impossible for legit players to afford them. Last edited by ShihTzu#4255 on Mar 28, 2013, 2:18:39 PM

They already nerfed multiboxing by removing the low level chaos recipe, and finally put the hammer in the coffin with the party loot change.
Unless there's some golden method of multibox farming I'm unaware of, all you can do is actually level 6 chars up, gear them up, and farm docks or whatever as a group. From my own experience with mutliboxing I can tell you: this doesn't work well. PoE is not a multibox friendly game, mainly due to collision between characters. The clump of characters won't stay in sync, so your copied mouse input won't register properly on all clients. There's no follow feature either, so there's no way to keep your party together in a map. Also, multiboxing is a good thing. It gives solo players the chance to earn the currency they need to Map by themselves, while party players only have to spend 1/6th for the same amount of exp. |
