I think this is an excellent idea. GGG will have free beta testers, and people will be able to check their ideas. Of course, all progress is wiped after PTR ends

Honestly speaking, is a bug fix and a correction. I seriously don't see any real nerfs.

GGG still allow 400-600% aura stacking which can still be abused.

Seriously, this is unfair to the players that are testing or playing the other cluster jewels.

Really - people like you are serisously damaging the game - not the influential 0,001% of population that made those exploits public - those people are mostly quite realistic concerning this issue and are even welcoming the changes.

To GGG:

Maybe make a manifesto declaring that everybody who (miss)uses mechanics that make your roflstomp the content even harder than with a headhunter will be subject to nerfs sooner or later - period.

Disclaimer: I didn't play the build and was not planning on it. I think what happened here could turn into a Disaster for GGG. If you go directly back on your word you violate a golden rule and that could in fact even influence the future league economies. GGG has destroyed the trust ppl. had when making their economical decisions in the league and after this precedent that could happen in every league to come. There will always be that uneasy feeling when making a big investment cos there is no guarantee anymore that you can trust in GGGs Statements. Sure this needed to be nerved. This should not even have been implemented with the information they had before the league. The huge problem here is the communication. Tell ppl. you need time to investigate, then do it and after you really know your position give one statement - and that is the final one. You can not promise one thing and then turn around and do the opposite. The exalts lost are just pixels. The lost trust is very real.

TLDR: The ones exploiting this leagues exploit. By stacking cluster jewels with Vigil Solstice you can make game ruining builds.

To be fair, anyone with half a brain saw this coming. The cluster notables should have been non-stackable from the very start.


Now its been fixed (not NERFED you basement dwellers) all the exploiters are crying.

Easy design: you can have one unique notable passive from tree or cluster jewel.
