Got spammed for my dusty black cane yesterday, noticed (for reasons unknown to me) that people were scouring the market for it. Realized flippers were investing heavy and eventually sold mine for 80c.

For people who have the game knowledge to farm the currency to make this build in a week the game is NOT HARD to begin with. I get that some people struggle with yellow maps, but whether or not this nerf goes live does not affect this type of people in the slightest.

I like how you seemed to have internally realized your arguments have no ground to stand on because this situation is completely absurd and has been one of the worst times the game has ever been broken so you shift your arguments to the fact it wasted your time and how much of it. THE FIRST THING GGG SAID when this came to light is that this mechanic would not survive past this league. So you made an investment in a highly volatile set of items who's value was guaranteed to collapse at the end of the league.

So the fact you chose to do this and the consequences of it are all on you.

Or did you think you'd somehow manage to use it and get rid of it for the same price while every other person was trying to do the same at the end of the league? Cause if that's the case you aren't fit to make these kinds of investments.

There is a distinction between a Buff and Non-Curse Aura. The unique sword Ichimonji is one such example.

Buff isn't an aura while non-curse aura is an aura.

But the PH affects Auras which is a Global Aura buff that affects both Buff. Debuff and Non-Curse Aura.

This literally breaks the game because with a simple buff enhancement, (there is no need to be even a guardian) you can have 100% fortify, 100% tailwind, 500% onslaught and slow mobs to the minimum action speed with debuffs.

This is totally broken.

Care to explain why they have now made it so that PH only affects skill-auras, and not all non-curse auras then? I am not saying there is no difference between a buff and an aura, there is. I am saying GGG coded it so that the game knows no difference between a buff, and a "temporary aura". Which explains why almost all buffs worked with PH, even though PH was ONLY supposed to work with auras. This is a coding issue, not a jewel issue. The jewel performed exactly how it was supposed to. It increased the effects of all auras on YOU, but the fact that GGG coded buffs as "auras" is the mistake here.

Ok, you may be a casual player or someone who never play a aurabot before. Or never learn any mana reservation.

The thing is, prior to this, my non-curse auras effect has never affected fortify buffs or even arctic armor. Only the sword Ichimonji is able to as it is the only thing that can affect buff.

As for the skill-aura, GGG is trying to be nice and not to nerf Guardian and defined those as skill aura that can be buff. It is because a Buff that affects only yourself isn't a true aura but just a buff. To be fair, GGG are confused themselves *roll eyes*.

But i honestly feel that guardians ascendencies are just buffs and not auras. Because it suddenly become aura, they can have 75% block.

This made people suddenly wake up and say, what if I can make fortify 100% and Champion's Master of Metal do 30 to 60 dmg per impale and Inspiration for double stacking to gain 60% more movement and additional 100% buff effect?

Think about it.

Even if you take away all that, there are many classes with aura effects that can still be abused after the nerf. If you think hard, you can still do 1 hit kill or god mode. It is just that GGG is too dumb to see that.

Are you dumb? For the vast majority of players, everything is worthless at the end of a league. I delete every standard character because standard is garbage. People are mad because GGG SPECIFICALLY stated it wasn't going to get nerfd, and to enjoy it while it lasts. So, a lot of people spent a lot of currency making these builds. Hell, even I wasn't going to invest in it until Bex said that, since I knew it was going to get nerfd. I even thought they would nerf it mid-league UNTIL Bex said not to worry. So, against my better judgement I went ahead with the build.
