Sirius is the reflection of negative and bad conception,am so sorry for saying that, but this is how i see it, adding to all that, the lack of criativity, the only positive thing at Sirius is the music.
the boss hides for no aparent reason, the boss still have an avatar, that hinders the view that already sucks, zoom in zoom out. u cant stop counting how many faults of that fight. beside that, insane damage melting ur HP with 1 hit. Seriously look more than trolling than challange,when you kill the player with 1 hit, you are disregarding the effort that the person made, during the time that he played, the effort that he did to make the gear, because it is hundreds or thousands of hours, which they turn into ashes in 1 second at the Werclast arena. am sure while you "testing" Sirius mecanics you laugh too much on our faces. let me tell you something, if you make a game for especific kind of players please GGG let us know!!! we left old games and came to PoE for the strong reason of variation !!!!!because many players are buying currency with real money :), i know soon or later, a forum policeman gona block this post for "negative coments". but yes.... standard builds start to domain the air in game, when thats happened, it means that game devlopers are unable to creat a combat mecanics with balance, forcing the 99% of players seek 1 unique build to play an entire legue, how you feel now??? good?
Sirius if you dont know, is the worst thing ever you made. the experience is so boring so pathetic that ppl are selling it for only 1ex.

Man you are rly digging deep into Sirus discussion in the forum. If someone gets 1 shot with 9k Life and "10k" Armour then it´s because u shouldn´t get hit in first place of these mechanics like the meteor for example. Then please read the wiki about Armour. Armour works against Normal Monster only. Other monster hit harder and armour doesn´t protect from these attacks. You need more mitigation like Dodge/Evasion/ES/Block or Guardian Skill like Molten Shell or the Vaal version VMS.
You waste so much time in complaining about Awakener which you could invest in getting better in the fight or learn how mitigation in PoE works.
hi brother... indeed am not talking about my self. as you read up there, i quit doing Sirius for long time, my time is very precious, about armor, yea i know about that weird form of interpretation, amor in fact only works with normal monsters hahahahahaha ...
100% of things you said up there i know about them. soon ill make some videos to show ppl how to make Currency, how to fight boss, and level up. if u see my profile, i have 98 jagg, 96 necro, 95 and 92 deaeye, 94Raider, 91 slayer (not active char) and a 91 Berserker. all other chars i have are active full well geared and i play with all at T16 or any game content with no problems. as i said, i save my time seeking right places right maps and bosses to fught,i leveled 3 char this week 98 96 95. if they can make better content, why not to make it, instead of that??

I said that the battle vs Sirius is sickening and nobody likes to play it. you want something with your answers. this is a public space for this type of subject, if you think you are above others, or think that ignoring the ideas of others, it means that you do not respect the opinion opposite to yours. so this type of space is not for people like you. am not strugling with your shitty boss!!!

Yes great gear and enough knowledge still struggling with sirus. Funny there are many ppl out there not struggling with that boss after they practiced him. But u know everything better so believe further in that. Imagine investing the 20 hours in the fight instead of complaining about the fight. But if you gave up on him there shouldn´t be a problem anymore so you will be fine!!!!

In the last phase, for me the difficulty lies on knowing where he is. We can theoretically know where Sirus goes to: he leaves a trail of light when he 'teleports'. Apparently, GGG added just a 'visual' difficulty to the fight. It is not just a matter of ability (and equipment), but also of visual capability of the player. I also get frustated because I have not this visual acuity. I even was not aware of that light-trail. I discovered it in youtube.

Sirus boss is broken
there are no defense calculations.
Its all 100% pure damage. + he does 200% elemental penetration lol.
CI - just helps with the chaos tornado's
Even 75% chaos resist will get you killed in 0.25 seconds .

I still get physically unconfortable when entering Sirus fight, even after a long pause and many AL8 kills.
I want nothing more than this fight to be trashed and a new one created. He can't deserve to be the climax of boss fighting in PoE. Even his arena was not designed and crafted for the fight, that's unworthy of being the last boss.
But before that, I want the guy who design boss fight and the guy who have in charge the huuuuuuuuuuge difference of power between characters to have a serious talk. You can't just make invulnerable phases with random things to evade to make a fight longer because some players have 40 times more damage than other. You can't make the boss targetable only a few second and teleport him offscreen often to save him from 10 millions dps toons.
It's the player that need to teleport away, if needed, reacting to a threat he saw. This fight is like the boss fear the player. Like the designer fear the power characters can get.
It may turn to be efficient to save the boss a few more seconds, but it make a very unlikable fight for everyone.

Had fun today, getting decent exp and nearing another level. Since I want to try my luck and maybe drop something other than useless gloves that rip after a single vaal, useless helmet, and another useless thread of hope, I decided to do one again.
Of course, his infinite range heat-seaking, auto-tracking laser smacks me after I leap slam miles away. I get back in, and he instantly starts his "weeee, carousel" phase again. 3 times in a row. What a lovely time to be playing melee.
Shit like this makes me want to stop playing this game period. Endgame is supposed to be mechanical, not RNG based. Like you could predict UE phases...
I find it terrifying that, after all those pages in this thread, GGG mentioned NOTHING regarding any changes.
PS. You can't see the tiny red dots that appear on the ground that 2-1 shot you after those itsy bitsy balls land when using Tectonic Slam.

Playing as a ranged (other than the laser lottery that if you fail to guess where is going to hit you die instantly even tho the decoy helps a little bit), is the fact that Sirus (and several other bosses like Kitava), becomes immune to damage when the change phase and it's incredibly hard to tell when you can deal damage again...
For Sirus sometimes I run around like a chicken to avoid stuff just to realize that I could have dealt damage for like 30s already :D
In any case a boss bar and a marker on the map for bosses would be of great help.
