Sirus fight is making me quit POE

Small puddles that you might not notice under the character CANCEL the health regeneration! Who invented this? Did you accidentally run off the edge of your foot under this puddle with a couple of stacks of bleeding? DIE! On you Blood Rage? DIE! Oni-Goroshi? Nebuloch? Righteous Fire? DIE DIE DIE!
How could you cancel such an important mechanics for a huge number of builds
You have a debuff that increases incoming damage and shock that increases incoming damage, well, you understand, DIE!
Sry for google translate!

all I know he always kills me with some off screen stuff
which is really fun
he is also mandatory to progress the atlas and takes forever to spawn
thank you for that
July 2020, I still feel I want to hurt myself IRL because of this fight. I thought nothing in the game would ever frustrate me more than labyrinth, boy I was wrong. I'd rather do lab all day than do one Sirus fight.
If PoE 2 will be all about these time-consuming clusterf* offscreen bossfights I might literally leave my favorite game of all time.
At least some guild mates are happy with the free Sirus fights now and then.

And you won't be the first, neither the last.

Unfortunately, player's opinions here have been absolutely useless for a while now .... they just don't care.
SSF is not and will never be a standard for balance, it is not for people entitled to getting more without trading.
In a metamorph, this battle was much better. Now in the last phase he is launching spin-to-win rays while they are spinning making "DIE! DIE! DIE!" and teleports around the arena killing me offscreen. Do you think this is okay? I can dodge one attack, but not THREE attacks at the same time! And yes, I have almost 10k hp. The boss absolutely does not give a s**t about it. Maybe hire a person who will make interesting patterns for the boss? Now Sirus is like a little kid who hits all the keys on the keyboard.

My minions with 40k(!) HP and 50%+ chaos resist die in seconds. Because AI is stupid, and summoners have no way order the summons to stand next to the player.

I don’t even want to talk about the fact that he most often drops garbage. Seriously. It’s easier to run a couple of T15 maps and get a more expensive loot.
This boss is ridiculous and frustrating, no doubt about it. Honestly I wouldn't even complain if he wasn't part of the freaking Atlas plot. If you are going to make a boss related to story, don't overdo it. It is a big slap to the face considering so far all the other acts the battles were just fine. Then this sudden wall on your face, and even if you manage to learn to fight him during the first few phases, he throws all logic out of the window during the last one.

Insta-kill die beams, multiple copies spamming beams, areas that remove regen and harshly debuff you while you still have to pay attention to the bullet hell, spell echo of death with him sniping you off screen. It is just absurd and punishing. You have a limited amount of attempts before having to go after all the darn conquerors too so it is extremely discouraging. I tried three times and all three times I lost my portals during the last phase, with some deaths just while trying to return only to be sniped off-screen. It is a shit boss.

> Died once to p4. Die Beam, ok shit happens, i am not pro

*Repeat 4x > Leap Slamming my way to the arena to fight Sirus
> Instantly get destroyed by Offscreen die laser beam

> Calmly walking up to fight Sirus and preparing my reaction time to leap slam away
> Since i died 5x i know the place he is, so i don't leap slam directly in to him
> Die beam easily tracks me and i get destroyed again, but hey, at least now i saw his face

My brain is melting

Hey at least i have some skins and GGG the money
Not sure what you are all harping on about.

I just died to Sirus (awakener 0) on my highest to date record (in terms on progress) character. Made it all the way to last phase and was quite pleased with the fight.

The only thing that tripped me up was the double die-beam (used 2 times consecutively) I didn't know he did that in last phase.

It was a fair death in a good fight. Next league I hope to get him.

P.S. Also it was the first endgame boss fight where I could actually run away during the phase shifts and resummon my specters (huge issue with the conquerors, not playing damage specters again until there is some way to reliably and quickly resummon them during boss fights).

With removing gems, using 2-10 desecrates (rng), targeting corpses, re-socketing gems it usually takes me something like 10-60sec to stand still with open inventory to do this, which ofc is not possible during fights.

Um, the thing that tripped you up is one of the things people complain about. Since it's the only time you've ever fought him it's not surprising you don't get why its drawn so much ire.

People don't typically complain about the other phases, the fight doesn't even really start till the last one.

When reaching him once is a goal in itself failing that once isn't major. But when you're fighting him multiple times and include all the work that goes into each spawn, you'd probably see it differently.
Yep, totally over league play.

Yes, but it's not really unfair, or rng. I just didn't know the fight well enough (being my first time). Now normally I detest 1 shot mechanics, but for the "final" boss in the game, I'm ok with that.

Stuff that does make me wanna quit PoE are bugs like 1 shots not playing their voice lines first (looking at you Drox). Laggy servers, stuttering, invisible stuff and the sort (like the guy killing himself due to the winterbrand bug on Crabman).
