Sirus fight is making me quit POE
Fix the freakin off screen lasers. Why are u tormenting players like this?

Mechanically, the fight against Sirus is fine. The arena is the problem. Well, most of the problem. If the fight were contained and focused inside a smaller area, it would be far better. The storms shouldn't be mobile hazards, but stationary borders. The other major problem is all of the standing around and waiting. Of course, the fight would have to be rejiggered to allow for more movement within the smaller arena, but it would alleviate much of the frustration with the fight - eg. no off-screening, less standing around, minimize storm interference, & a stationary, less infuriating camera.
This fight reminds me a lot of the Mastermind boss fight - stupidly large arena, frequent off-screen one-shots, lack of distinct visual cues, & a fuck ton of visual clutter. It's a recipe for terrible boss design. |

Died sadly 6 times in a row to the offscreen laser. On a Level 5 Sirus. 12.5k EHP, well rolled Utility Flasks and a huge amount of regeneration/Defenses*.
No idea GGG was thinking about this mechanic. The fight bevor the laser was ok, not the best mechanic, but okish. Offline for now, grinding for the next offscreen rip's make me sad. Gratz to all who can offscreen dodge. *I'm aware, regeneration doesn't matter to much / nothing in that fight ... |

Almost all my deaths in the fight have come from the "Rain of Stars" during his vulnerable phase. There's no audio cue (that I've heard) when you're actually fighting him, and the ground warning for those is a tiny little sparkle that gets completely lost in all the particle nonsense.
I've never gotten off screened by the laser, and here's the secret. He stays in the circle he creates. Just fight him on one side of the circle (with that side's boundaries on screen), and when he teleports to the other side, use your movement skill as if you're trying to draw a triangle (45-60 degrees left or right from straight across) and he'll miss you every time. I'll admit, I've gotten nicked by one or two of the beams but the whole barrage hasn't hit me yet. Most of the time they completely miss me - but it's definitely one of the scarier attacks he's got. |

Can't play this fight as a summoner.
My PC freezes when he does his offscreen 'DIE' beam and 3 secs later I'm obviously dead. Just wasted all my portals...again With my dps I kill metamorphs within 1 sec on t16 maps but Sirus fight is just unplayable. Which is kinda fun because summoner build is the most popular one. Makes me wanna quit to be honest. So mad |

The fight is garbage, getting to the fight is garbage, and the experience is garbage. I'm very certain many people will quit because of how bad this fight is. I've been playing this season with a friend. I'm running a home brew Holy Flame Totem build and my friend is running a completely broken Necro build where they just run around in a circle and the minions kill the boss. My totem build is similar with not quite as good survive-ability and not even close to as good damage.
Me and my buddy have both beaten Sirus up to level 6 now and haven't gotten any Watchstones to drop in a while (buddy is considering quitting because the lack of progression). With my totem build I can kill him about 50% of the time. My only deaths coming in the last phase where he literally kills me when he says "die" unless I time an actual perfect Flame Dash or I get lucky (and yes I'm running in a circle always perpendicular with him for the most optimal dodge chance). The first half of the fight is a total fucking joke, but nothing is as infuriating as the random unavoidable one shots. The summoner build is sitting at 9-10k effective HP while my totem build is at 7500. I also get a death every now and then just running back after a death and storms close in on me or I can't even see the boss yet in the final phase and he 1 shots me running back to him before he is even on my screen. |

" work on your gears and build. its terrble. sirus fight is easy and if you are dying to his beam, well its mostly comes from lack of experience. kill him 30+ and youll know. i kill him with my sub character , deathless easily. youll be able to do it deathless eventually. Well if GGG wants every casual person to quit the game consider this boss fight a complete success. Complete waste of time. T16 maps are a joke compared to the ENVIRONMENT of this fight. That's a great idea lets create a boss fight where the boss doesn't kill the players, let the Environment kill people!

Kill him 30+ times? LOL you have to run like 50 maps just to get him to spawn. I got a job, wife, and kids I can't play 100 hours a week.
