Sirus fight is making me quit POE

The fights broken. It's time to remove your dunce cap and stop being stupid. It's by far the worst designed fight in the entire game. Not to mentioned PoE should be renamed to PoB -- Path of Bugs. Instead of new features, fix the ones that are broken. There's certainly no shortage! Would be nice to die from a mistake rather than broken, cheap, crap mechanics and design choices.

Almost got him no deaths until last phase. Meteormaze is blocked on both sides of the last ring by walls on the stairs... Getting back to him clost me several portals because of the storms... when i got back to him he blasted me with his multilaser.. It is so infuriating. How you should feel if the boss is good designed: "Man I lost but I almost got him. I have to look out for these attacks next time." How you actually feel: "The game cheated me." Sad to say but when I get him down it wont be that epic win I'm seeking in a boss fight it will be the realisation that I got lucky this time... :/ Bad Design. Edit: Forgot to say that i really hate to spawn all the conquerers again. Why not reduce the loot by alot and at least give me the chance to try him again faster? First of all I really like the Sirius Fight even Phase 3. His infight mecanics are nicely telegraphed with visual and audio ques. But these random Storms fml. Today had 3 sirus fights deathsless in a row and now just died to one. Died 5 times to the storms and only once to sirius himself. I am pretty sure there is a bug in the Sirus fight when you die for whatever reason you have to retrigger him comming out of storm phase. For multiple times now it feels like there more storms then when I just kill him deathless. Needless to say that it is even possible storms arrange in a way that you have to flamedash phaserun through nearly 2 full storms just to come back to the main fight is ridiculous. Possible Solution: either remove the storms entierly and just buff his HP x2 or 3. Bonus point that this would discourage super tanky builds that can tank through his mecanic but take half an hour to kill him ( atleast I hope that is not an intented way to kill a final boss ). Other solution: make all storms static. Only the one that sirus spawns while hes an his chair can move this would keep the spirit and still mostly guarantee that you will have atleast 1 way back to your boss fight incase you die. |

Sirus is a really good fight with some extremely terrible interactions. The Chaos Storm mechanic has very major flaws.
- First the immobile Clouds can be pushed by Sirus Arena, this makes it possible that the immobile clouds can completely block the entrance, making the fight impossible. - The moving clouds can also block the entrance. - Dying sometimes causes him to spawn another cloud for no reason. - Kiting clouds is overly difficult because they are too big and the traversable area is too small and compact. and when there are only 1 or 2 pathways, it means it only takes 1-2 clouds to completely block your path. - The clouds hit box is bigger than the graphic and the damage ramps up too fast. The clouds suck...a lot... The railways blocks movement making the maze impossible is spawned near the stairs. There is no clear indiction that you need to walk under him to get him to come down, this is the main reason most people hate the fight, the first impression was negative for the vast majority of players. The ground degen is too hard to see. I hope that the next patch notes have fixes for these issues, we've been waiting a month. I understand that GGG staff were on holiday vacation, but some glimmer of hope that Sirus won't suck in the near future would be awesome. |
