Sirus fight is making me quit POE

One thing i've been having alot of trouble with is his 3rd phase. I hate how his big ass cannon blast traces you while it's channeling, and the way sirus can just kill you with it off-screen while walking back from a death.

Haven't seen many people complaining about this, it might just be something im struggling with idk.
This fight is just terrible, firstly there is how difficult it is to spawn him meaning you get few chances to learn the fight. This is not even counting the bug with spawning conquerors.

Then when you finally get a chance to fight him you essentially only have one life, as the storm clouds will come and block the entrance meaning you can't get back to him if you die.

I don't have the time to spawn this guy enough times to actually learn this fight with the BS there is now.

Add to this the laziest type of fight mechanic, we have made our players too powerful, the only way we can design a fight is to make the boss totally invulnerable for most of the time.

Thats a grind i will not put up with for next leagues. Yesterday I played agskn for nearöy ten hours. Didnt even manage to spawn 3 conquerers...

If there is no response of ggg thats it for me I guess.

Last league guys. Simply because i have tondecide between my family, other brilliant games this year and work (anf sleep)...

I have just encountered Sirus for the 3rd time. Failed it purely because I am so confused and the battlefield is impossible to understand and see. So this post is an angry post but I have ensured the key facts remain in it so that it is not just a rant, but constructive criticism. Foul language is to emphasis the frustration and anger at the very low quality of product released.

This is the absolute worst content GGG has released in the last 5 years. Even Betrayal'x Catrina boss was better than this.

Literally have no sodding clue how to do this fight. It changes every time.

1st time i did this fight - got to the final stage of Sirus and he instantly killed me with 3 different AOE attacks at the same time. It was so quick I didn't even understand what is on the screen.

2nd time I did the fight, I encountered the storm by the entrance, so instantly fail.

3rd time, for over 5 minutes 5 FUCKING MINUTES, he was floating in his chair moving around the arena. Literally running like a headless chicken moving the GPS storm away from him and just running circles underneath his chair. When the 3rd stage encounter FINALLY began, MY ENTIRE SCREEN was blocked by his stupid giant alter ego so you literally can not see anything on the battlefield.

The fundamentals to a fight is tactics and strategy. There is none of that when entering the arena with a cloud by your door.

Solutions to the problems MANY are reporting:
1. When you spawn back into the Arena, if it is during a fight phase, teleport you within the fight's circle - this omits the out of player's control'deaths from the storms

If you die between fight phases, simply have the GPS storm removed and respawn it opposite side to where the door is. This way at the very least, you have time and opportunity to get into the arena and manipulate the storm yourself.

2. Sirus' alter ego (fat fucker blocking the screen) - Either: remove him as he adds no value to the fight, or stick him on the side of the arena (left or top (NOT RIGHT OR BOTTOM).
He can still do his random attacks from there, no need to have him in the center of the screen BLOCKING EVERYTHING.

3. Fix the bugs - If they can not be fixed...remove that element of the content from the game.

I agree, getting better at the fight, but it's not an enjoyable experience at all. Probably won't bother with it after I get a kill, it's not fun.

I an absolutly at you side. I can do the fight deathless (when there are no bug like him disapperaring or spawning the storms one after an other) but this is the frustrating and unenjoable fight in POE. Uber Elder died for this bullsh*t?
After the 3rd time in a row i couldn't finish the bug-fight, I'm going to play a round of Darksouls 3 to come down and relax.

This fight is terrible. As a very casual player trying this for the first time, I saw my excitement turn into disappointment and annoyance.

Here's why this fight is poorly designed:

- It's too visually cluttered, I can't see what is going on, certainly can't see the one-shot degen stuff, and the area is too dark. Black and red skills on a black and red arena...

- I learnt nothing. Starting the fight, doing well, suddenly I'm dead instantly with no idea what killed me. I have 7K EHP, 100% to 0 in an instant. I can't learn mechanics when they one shot me.

- The storm mechanic is unclear, they're too big, block the door, too much damage.

- He was floating directly above a storm cloud when I returned after my second death. No idea how to interact with him, could barely see him on my screen with needing to stand on the edge of the cloud. He one shot me with a beam off-screen. Not fun. What do I do here? How do I run underneath him when he's floating ABOVE a storm cloud?

- Lost all my XP. Remove the stupid XP penalty. Not only did I waste 6 portals and gain nothing from this fight, either in enjoyment or learning anything about it, but I also lost half a level of hard-earned XP. And for no reason. It feels punishing to attempt content. I don't play this game to be punished. Not killing him is the punishment, don't take my damn XP too.

- Why doesn't he scale with the Atlas level? I'm doing him at Awakening 4 and got destroyed by every ability in an instant, he's such a massive step up from everything else up to this point. Poor design. You even smoothed out boss difficulty in red tier maps for this expansion, and you STILL leave a massive, gaping chasm of a leap in difficulty between the conquerors and Sirus.

- It's buggy. Nothing more needs to be said about how technically unreliable this fight is.

- It's not fun. It's the opposite of fun. Make it so I fail miserably, whatever. But at least make it fun so that I crave going after him again. As it stands, I'm just going to avoid this fight in the future.

Sorry GGG, but you aren't anywhere near as good at designing bosses as you think you are. Listen to all the feedback and sure, make something challenging, but first make it FUN.

Also, let's tone down how rippy the game is at the moment in general. It's hilariously overtuned and it isn't fun being one-shot. How many times do you need to hear this.
I agree with the posters above.

The big point I want to agree with is that the fight feels more like hide and seek in a very dangerous environment and not a fight.

The sheer grind just to get to him is also way too much.

I've really enjoyed this game (till this league) but this new boss and atlas change have sapped the will to play out of me.

In principle I really like the new atlas but once you get past the first Sirus fight it becomes REALLY grindy. Its hard to keep track of what maps you have already run in an area to trigger the awakener there once you have influence once the number of maps you have tried exceeds the number of maps available in the area (Is this bugged). Yes I'm running the right level maps. (Tier matching the atlas with 4 stones socketed).

This is the first time I've quit a league before I felt I'd achieved what I was aiming at.

A game is supposed to be fun, not work.

I cannot state how much I detest this fight and its design, I have killed Sirus multiple times now I have also had the fight brick multiple times because of the boss bugging, being blocked by stairs in the maze mechanic or the sheer stupidity of the storm mechanic which is uninteresting, inconsistent and unfun to play with. I have had multiple fights brick now because i simply cannot get back to Sirus because of storms. It is so dumb losing a boss fight, not because you failed at boss mechanics or in damage fighting him, but because of an absolutely ludicrous troll mechanic that shouldn't be part of the fight and that not a single person enjoys.

Please GGG fix this fight. I cannot tell you how frustrating it is to spam T16 maps to chase influence, kill all the elderslayers, finally get to the Sirus fight only to die 5 times to storms blocking the path to the boss. It feels so unfair and so awful not even getting the chance to have a proper fight with the boss.

I prefer Uber elder Elder and Shaper a million times more than this fight, at least if i fail in those encounters I know its because I didn't dodge a mechanic properly or kill adds etc which is how a boss should be.
