INSANE memory leak since the last patch (3.9.0e)
"It's 5GB right from the start for me. But I'm at 8GB RAM total so it's like 1-2 restarts per hour. Never had something like this before. |

I'm now unable to complete a single map before my pc runs out of memory.
I have 10 GB now. When POE comes up to 6GB reserved my game just crashes. Happens every 10 minutes. |

Had same issues, Slight help but not by much by disabling sound in production_config via setting everything to false except master volume + item_filter_sound_volume2. Worth trying atleast, Would be nice if GGG adressed the issue soon.

" I play that way for year now. And ill play that way till 4.0 comes out. Then will experience 4.0 with all sounds one time and will get back to those. It helps but not in current state of Path of Memory Leaks. |

I'm having the same issue. I get HUGE stuttering in maps and even in my hideout. Restarting the game doesn't really help it...the problem persists after about 10 minutes of it running. Sometimes it will crash like in a legion encounter. I have to clear half the mobs in a legion then run off screen when it spawns and sometimes it won't crash.
I've never had a major performance problem until a couple/few weeks ago. I hope they fix it soon...I can't play my favorite game :(. Luckily I switched to Softcore after becoming a dad. Can't imagine being in HC with this. I'm a huge supporter of this game I hope it is addressed soon. Last edited by kaizer4400#7213 on Jan 1, 2020, 11:41:13 AM

Anyone know if upgrading to Win 10 will fix this? Going to download the 7 to 10 upgrade tonight.
I can't even play more than 15 minutes without the game becoming a 2-FPS blur. Last edited by superbomb1967#5561 on Jan 2, 2020, 3:12:32 PM

Good news is windows 10 is technically free so you can try it to see if it works before you decide to buy it. Just download windows 10 from Microsoft and when you get to the key part just say you don't have a key. You can install and run windows just fine.
