Hey all,

After our deploy of patch 3.9.1b, we saw that the problem was fixed for some, but not everyone.
We're aware of the problem and are working on a fix as quickly as we can.
Sorry for the inconvenience!

Nice, but it's too late. At least for me. Maybe I will have time to play some other league.

Just please, next time make sure your game is at the very least playable BEFORE holiday, not after when everyone has to go back to work/school.
Same issue:

Windows 7 64bit
i7 3770
GTX 660

Sometimes I can play ~1 hour, but anytime I do open up the skill tree and scroll down to unzoom... game drops to 1 fps, froze, and sometimes crash.

Gotta restart every 30mins or so to trynna keep 'normal fps'

Please GGG, fix this ASAP !

Oh, so apparently braking the game and making it unplayable you call an "Inconvenience", just a slight problem, sorry :) Eh... 2 weeks now and it is still not fixed? You should truly refrain from patches during holiday seasons this year.

ALSO, how your mentioned patch should have fixed a terrible memory leak? WHOLE GAME STARTED LEAKING TERRIBLY after 3.9.0e, just a few area changes and RAM is all over the place. I'm not even gonna be talking about metamorph encounter that bump RAM by ~1GB or so.

FIXING ONLY METAMORPHS WON'T HELP. The problem is more general than that. I truly wish you best of luck to revert the game performance wise to pre 3.9.0e. The game was performing so well and when I actually thought "Wow, respect" you managed to f*ck it up so bad that your word "INCONVENIENCE" is completely out of place as well as your memory leak.

GOOD LUCK.

I'm just as frustrated as you but you have to understand this is why the staff don't update us on things as often there is always some one who nitpicks or gets super upset on something i do believe you have the right to be upset i to am upset but at the same time this is also the reason they dont communicate with us as often as we would want.

be honest with yourself. It can't be more ignorant than once for two weeks with few words...no matter what pc u got it is global issue
I am frustrated i just dont see what good it is to nitpick it just makes dev's reply less with updates when we all want them to keep us updated as much as possible

Still unplayable for me. Area changes and opening the passive tree are especially awful - oddly enough, delving seems to be significantly better. Still not worth playing for any significant period.
From Twitter:

We're currently working on a patch with a fair amount of improvements. With a lot of devs are still away, it would be too risky to deploy it before the weekend. We're keen to release a patch ASAP, likely next week with some changes coming early if they can be deployed early.

Thank you for reporting on this source; I appreciate it~

Since that Twitter post from GGG is now the most recent expectation, then it is just a matter of seeing if GGG can deliver on their claim; of course, preferably happening sooner rather than later and that it will be an complete fix rather than an incomplete fix.
