Turned back to all 4 cores now and for me it is smooth again. Tested it on twinned Core map with 2 breaches and Cassia. No struggles with frames at this moment. Will test more tommorow.
Another day and still no fix nor any info about it.

I don't think you are correct Yolandi.

I can play one white map (as long as it doesn't have any master missions, Legions, or Abysses) before I run out of mana memory and crash hard.

I can walk up and down my hideout for 30 seconds , and the fps drop down to 2-5 fps.
So no it isn't fixed , and fix only made it worse
I bet if all the streamers were having performance issues this would have been fixed immediately. The AMD crashes were made priority because Ziggy crashed on stream multiple times. I guess the strat is to copy the top streamers PC specs to ensure any issues are actually fixed.

Monday afternoon at GGG and still no update on progress.

I don't fully understand if the problem can not be fixed on near time why not go back at last correct patch for win7 + 64 bit?
Any news on a fix yet? its been more than a week! I get its holidays and all but this many people unable to play the game properly surely this should get a priority fix?
After you get fps drop test

Walking in Tanes lab zoom all the way in walk from side to side.

far left i get 142 fps , at the waypoint it goes down to 5 fps.

Fps cleared up in tanes lab ported back to my Hideout and got slide show.

Poe currently use 5 595 500kb ram

Another case where client performance can degrade over time.

That's from the known issues post. I can replicate the performance degradation by going to the passive tree, zooming it out, and moving it around back and forth as much as possible. I go from ~30 FPS to 3-6 after a few seconds of this. I've had this problem in other places, this is just how I know to replicate it.
Just going to chime in and do my part reporting the same problem, mine is not as bad as some descriptions here - I can run about 10-20 instances before I have to restart. When RAM maxes out, framerate visibly degrades although remains playable for another few runs, until the game inevitably starts running at a slideshow and needs an imminent restart.
