So, GGG, about the Skin Transfer MTX Anointment Bug

Are you guys gonna delete the bugged items? You can't be seriously thinking that autismos like me are gonna let this one go under the radar.

This was a gigantic bug, and people sold items for thousands of exalts with bugged anointments. Some guy even has a legacy Kaoms on STD with a bugged Constitution anoint on it. Hilarious.

I agree something needs to be done.

The difference between those who have and those who do not is so big and for those who do not have, as they assumed abusing a bug like this would lead to punishment are feeling a little frustrated.

What worries me more is the constant deletion of posts and threads here and reddit makes it feel like your trying to just hide it rather than deal with it. You have always been open and honest in the past and i hope this time is not going to be any different!

My biggest concern now is your faced with a double edged sword and i hope you use this time you have taken to come out strong, setting clear stances on this level of bug abuse but also making things right for all.

I know you do not want to lose player base so clearly banning people just will not happen as far too many have abused this, but you can't let this kind of behaviour continue as these are also things that make others leave who do not hide behind "oh sorry i was dumb when i made 5-100 items doing it, and my 100 exalts 5 mirrors".

I personally think the only way out, middle ground. Would be to open it up for all this league (none P2W) and be clear this behaviour will be punished in the future. I do not think you can delete all the items or just remove the annoints now because that will not punish the people who have made and sold to others, and trust me there are tons. I also think how its effected the economy has gone too far already and even worse the RMT that have made tons from it. By opening it up to all none P2W you at least slightly punished the cost to those selling / buying clearly bug abused items and this is better than out right banning them which i know you wont want to do.

Eagerly awaiting a resolve to this.

I saw some of them at 6mirror priced, cus getting an extra curse "for example" is a big bonus.

I think at least they should remove those "bug items".
A temporary ban at those who make profit of exploit abussing, is not that bad.

But never keep thos bug exploited items as legacy. It was never an obtainable item for no one but exploit abusers.

If you're really dead set against cheaters, you should be playing SSF, and if you're playing SSF you shouldn't care about people who exploit a bug.

This thread is just sour grapes.

Agreed, I think full on account rollbacks (to before the bug ever took place) for anyone who benefited would be letting them off too easy personally.

Really? That's the argument you are going with?

GGG should just remove all these annoinments from items that should not have it. Don't care if people paid 10 ex or 10 mirrors for them. The majority knows it should not be on those items.

People who exploited this should be punished as well. I was watching a Russian stream yesterday and he was just doing this for people non stop.
I personally don't care if people made money out of it, removing the annointments is the best solution and most people who bought it knew it is not allowed and just expect GGG to do nothing about it, so they are to blame themselves for losing the currency.

This is the best solution for the honest players that choose not to use or exploit this bug.

Remember when duping was going on in Bestiary?
Don't recall anyone getting in trouble over that one either.

i own one of the items, i bought it for 50exalteds

i dont think its anything wrong in buying the item you want, exploiting somthing is however somthing difrante.

So why did i buy that? well because i want to have it, there is no other answer on that question, its upgrade for me so i took it.
i know the risk they might remove, it and im taking that risk.

all that being said, there is only 3 possible fair solution to this

1: remove the anoinment from those items ( yes i owe one and i agree with it )
2: change oils so everyone can put it on gloves/armor/boots just like anointing amulets for example
3: wich is maybe abit unfair because of som progress ( i push delve ) rollback servers before that happen, so those RMTs get in trouble and noone actuly lose anything expect som progress maybe / but then wuld people complain "i found mirror noooo my mirror"

so i think either 1st or 2nd solution wuld be the best. some of you guys gonna hate me cos i bought it, but i am looking on that like this: my char is 700ex worth, there is very litle upgrades i can get, and those upgrades that i can get is hard to find on market. top delvers allready bought those armors or crafted them i dont know, so i will buy it too, i have 80ex so why not buy the armor that top people allready got. I wuld be mad at myself if they not remove it and i know that i culd get it...
i have unfair advantage and yes either remove them all or make it so everyone can have it, because when you minmax char like i do it wuld be stupid to just pass on it.

its just my honest opinion
