Why would the cooldown start at 50%? What we see here is an absolutely perfect example of what the scaling would look like if it were 4% per level and started at 0.


Mainly because a lot of gems bonuses at gem lvl 20 do not gain bonus/20 per gem level. Some do, but most start at a particular value at gem L1 and gain a smaller amount per level, in order to keep the bonus "reasonable".

I say "reasonable" because the game is starting to swing more and more to extremes, so it could well be 4% per gem level. That would put it nicely back at 100% at gem lvl 26 afterall. The point was it's gaining some degree of cooldown per gem level and the concerns about it 'only' being 76% are null and void.

What about basic AI changes? Any improvements there, or just numerical buffs? Because that's not what summoners needed, they need smarter minions.

It answers your question though. It's not like you need minions to do algebra.
The AI being able to prioritize higher value monsters on their own would be good.
I'm waiting for 3.8 to play again (necro of course)
Not sure I'll be playing a Necro... haven't seen how it compares to Guardian. Guardian's gotten a huge buff out of this, stealing a lot of what the Necro brought to the table.
