with 100% cooldown recovery from 2 violent dead threshold jewels was 300%, now it is 276%.

Lets see... we had like 5 sec slam cd... so if it was 300% cd reduction, then cd was 1.25 sec.
If it would be 276% cd reduction, then it will be 1,32978sec cd on it.
So it is 6% lower only... Do not think it is within the range of 100% hit rate of skeletons nerf....

On-topic: man these skeleton changes are really silly. Ray Harryhausen would be turning in his grave.


Also please note the significant popularity with the console crowd and ease of play. (the first season PoE was on PS4 the Summoner was extremely high on the played list) I don't really think this is an accidental update.

Once they get the optimization better(tbh for every version of PoE), I can see the appeal of the Master of Puppets.

And yet im angry at all the "console UIs" i get in my pc games. Skyrim for example has a horrible UI, and afaik it was made for consoles. I hope we wont go all the way there.

Can't wait to see the 15+ MTXs for summoner abilities coming this league. I've been playing a summoner every league for 4/5 years now and they have been basically ignoring the builds buff and MTX wise. The buffs to Necro are probably only coming cause Tencent made them make MTXs...without a doubt.

This is nice, since it implies you might have some choice in your ascendancy passives rather than being essentially railroaded into the same 3 or 4 each time.

It also means there's more flexibility to pick a different ascendancy entirely if you want to run zombies, but don't really want spectres putting guardian or elementalist on more equal footing.

That's assuming you use zombies at gem level 20.

You wont.

Most summoning builds use them at gem level 25-27, and you can potentially get +2 from the new weapons on top of that (maybe even higher). Depending on the gem level progression, it might be able to push the CD even lower than it was previously.

Fixed a bug where players believed the game was playable. This has been corrected and made retroactive.

Fixed a bug where players adapted to 3.15. This bug cannot be corrected, so we have implemented a 90% reduction in item access as a punishment.

LOL! That's what I figured...

Though it'd be cool if it just changed the spells they used to: ice spear, arc, magma orb (just made much, much smaller graphically).

Tho it'd be cool if they added variants of the Dead Recokoning jewel to limit the type of element your skel mages used.
