Now we really need to see the Necromancer ascendancies. Summoning 3 skeletons was a perk. What's replaced it?

Actual raise zombie at any level says: "Can raise up to 3 Zombies at a time"
New one at lvl 20 says: "Maximum 7 raised zombies" Flesh Binder gives +2 zombies. Should I guess that now we may get 2 zombies more at lvl 20???? O.o

Having increased damage on the gem makes no sense. Minions already get more damage as you level the gem, and that increase is still invisible to players in game. There is just no basis for knowing what increasing gem level is really doing here.

38% more life on zombies. Hope u dont nerfed life of then to add this buff and be the same.

This has to be seen in context with the coming Necro overhaul. Summoning more skeletons per cast (rn part of necro) and having a base zombie count of 7 (previously 3) just from the gems alone would be bonkers with the old necro, since it would probably stack.
Other than that the dash on skeletons is new, and from the wording they seem to have higher base speed. I think Zombie Slam not being able to be evaded is new. Zombies now have 38% more minion life integrated, aswell. So .. pretty big buffs for the gems themselves? Definitely seems so. Buffs for Necro-Summoners? We will see. Im still sad GGG decides to procede with giving pretty much no info on the minions themselfes. In case of the damage numbers ive heard that it is because summoning itself doesnt too damage. Well placing a totem or mine doesnt do damage, either. Technically, channeling Winter Orb or throwing a trap doesnt do either, but those all get damage numbers, more or less well calculated. As i see it Skeletons couldn't miss the target, now Bone sculptor is removed (intergrated to skill), but still we have no "hits can't be evaded" bonus
So this bonus went to zombies? |

Was going to start with Totems, but doing a necro build may be the way to go.
