Yes, 1 stage per "attack", just like every other channeled skill. With a 1 attack per second weapon you'll have 3 attacks per second with Cyclone and be up to max stages in 2 seconds without any other modifiers.

That's not how this works. That's not how any of this works. Facebreaker and voidforge are going to be by far the most dps among cyclone builds, with voidforge being the enhanced range variant. They'd have to deliberately change flat damage mechanics on attack skills completely for it to work how you want to imagine it working, which would also absolutely annihilate elemental hit (hilariously).

This is completely irrelevant. It's still stronger than adding an additional abyssus onto your build, since any other sources of flat damage are multiplied by the same value. Just think about the strength with fb and voidforge.
Have you done math on scaling the elemental damage with cyclone + voidforge and comparing them with cyclone + starforge ? I get that shock and 300% conversion from physical to elemental damage is insane. But with some fosil crafting you can get some serious extra physical damage done with starforge. I guess my question is: Isn't high physical damage with some decent crit chance/ multiplier that slayer offers, stronger for bossing?( trash is not that important since you will be doing some serious overkill with each option).
