Synthesis Week 2: What we're working on

Well, this is it.
Been waiting for this to see what the closest planned patch has in mind, and while there are some improvements to Betrayal inherited issues it still doesnt tackle the main league mechanic, which is soooo broken that i cant even!!
Its like trying to build a multilevel sand castle in a windy day, when anything u build is constantly crashing behind u, and u have to start all over again. Not to mention the limited 10slot toolset at disposal.
While some ppl might have a Sisifus fetish, im not the masochistic type so i guess i'll switch to MTG:Arena or something and check back in a week or two too see if there are some improvements.

I tried, i really tried. Its first league since Anarchy that i feel compelled to leave it aside after first week. Not even pokemon one managed that. And im not alone i guess, league has that second/third month vibe when things are kinda deaded, ppls are gone or afk, trades are slow, new posted "dings" on poe.trade are few and far between, u know what im talking about.

Map drops still not fixed: i tried again after "map drop patch" to run again from tier 1 all maps, alched, and still couldnt even complete tier 4 and 5 by self sustain...which is sad. Trying to buy low tier cheap maps from trade is a no-no, since nobody from the few ones that are still on league will leave their delve/nexus/map party/rotation or whatever to sell 1 alch or 1 chisel map. Zana also sold out and i cant refresh her stock since her missions are in maps i dont have (likewise shaper influence areas, is like they check my map stash and then select where to spawn)

Betrayal intelligence, hah. Level 83, not avoided any single syndicate encounter (areas or maps) and i dont have any safehouse completed, not even close (i think i have one at about 70%, the closest).

7 challenges so far, not chasing them, done by playing, but still very far from other leagues when the usual challenge rate by getting into yellow maps were at least 11-12.

Delve, not much better either. Managed to fill the 4000 something upgraded sulphite bar once, which sustained a wobly trip from the place auto-digger leave u when u finished storyline (50ish depth i think) to 65 or so, and that it. No city, no outpost, no fancy nodes either, no side exploring and wall breaking since no azurite to buy antidark upgrades. So meh.
Same with Alva and Einhar, they are there and do their jobs, nothing to write home about, so far. From the few abysses found and done so far, only one underground, of course no lich.

I was hoping that nexus will do the difference. Watched the ziggy guide on doing long bridges, since on my own i couldnt completely figured out, being at least counter intuitive, made some progress and bang! second day came along a patch that forced you to respawn at F$%#@% collapsing node.

I dont understand why oh why GGG couldnt make:
1. either autoactivate placed memory (make it 1 or 2 life max if u want to prevent abuse)
2. OR let us travel at any previously visited memory, like in delve nodes, with a node life cost at every revisit.
3. also moar room in memory sets inventory, since u cant renew it on the fly if u are building something, got in the middle of the long bridge and miss a specific configuration to continue...

That would had helped a lot.

This is exactly why Betrayal shouldn't have gone core before it was ready...

I actually like Nexus League (and it should have been called "Nexus League" in my opinion) and it's a shame that Betrayal is tarnishing it so badly - I AM glad it's finally being addressed though.

Wrong. If anything they should remove Synthesis so we can play a league that actually had rewards for engaging with it (Betrayal) (Delve).
Ok, so I'm a relatively new player.
I started with the Betrayal league and quite enjoyed it - a bit frustrating when you're levelling to have to stop because some train is moving.

Anyway, this league looked interesting but, my lord, could the instances actually scale a bit better?
Taking a low level character into amemory, if the huge pack of mobs doesn't one-shot you, you don't have any time to get to the stabiliser because you're fighting the huge pack of mobs.

So I'm basically ignoring the league mechanic (At least that's possible this time, just leave poor ol' Cavas sitting there like an Altzheimer patient wondering why he came into the room).

Awesome to hear and see that Betrayal's integration into core is getting fixed. Some of these changes are much overdue since Betrayal league itself started. Better late than never, here is hoping GGG can expand their dev team to be able to better keep up with their crazy content schedule.

And did you guys fixed the bug that every betryal encounter will disappear if you finished Zana’s Quest before Jun’s? It’s happened to me twice now
