Why the hell is this a physical damage too? Stop this non sense converting thing. If the skill is too weak, give it a proper damage increase.

Ah nice to see a lightning skill that you can scale a little bit differently then all the other lightning skills. I am glad GGG doesn't just give all skills the same damage values an every skill is comleatly interchangeable skill tree wise! Good job! Why not call it differently and let the old storm burst live on. You could still do that!

Honestly I'm a bit dissapointed to see the old storm burst completely gone.
I'm not saying the rework is a bad skill, but it could easly be a new one on its own. Storm burst has its unique mechanics and looks so it's sad to see it gone. Sure it needed some damage buffs and maybe an improve on the balls control. The idea I had on how to make it better was to change the gem quality bonus to projectile deceleration, so that at 20% projectiles would stop at where the cursor was pointing while casting and at 0% there would be no deceleration. that way we could have choice for map clear and for controlable single target damage. On top of that some buffs to damage and maybe additional projectiles as gem levels up and increased projectile speed. |
