[3.5] Occultist Vortex/Cold Snap ES/CI - Deathless and Safe Uber Elder and T16's

btw killed Uber now - second league in row with this build. Last portal cause I just suck at this mechanical fight and jumped into beam or exploding Elder Ring after being slowed, but dmg and survival is there 100%. And w/o ES regen Watcher's Eye which I got last time :)

Also that Scepter craft is just T2, Fractured T1 too expansive and got bored and felt unlucky after spamming over 3k Alts to get T1 prefix on it.

Does anyone know how this guy https://www.pathofexile.com/account/view-profile/Ogridium/characters?characterName=CoIdAsIce fits in Discipline, Malevolence and Aspect of the Spider without Enlighten and reduces Mana reserved nodes?

Great build. In HC I definitely wouldn't recommend leveling with Vortex though, as you wouldn't have the tankiness to support the playstyle (not really the build's fault) early on.

Once the build comes online though it's all good so far. Will try guardians and stuffs in a couple more level. Any tips on how to survive survivability abit more ? Some map mods can get a bit sketchy atm.



Money's abit tight atm but I'm torn between starting my helm craft or putting all my resource into 6linking the chest. Some random thoughts so far:
- Thinking of giving up Phase Run as I find that with phasing jewel im pretty much perma phased anyway.
- Switching out one of the trigger spell for Enduring Cry, or perhaps in my CWDT setup.

I dont know which of these two items is the better one for this build and for me and my char.

Any suggestions.....

I would for sure use the Hubris. You should have plenty of damage, and it gives more ES as well as not gimping your recharge rate. Your Coldsnap won't hit as hard, but Vortex is doing most of the work anyway.

EDIT: it also has CDR on Vortex, which should make it feel much smoother if your movespeed is sufficiently high...

Hey folks, I finished my goals with this build and switched to new build but I want to finish challenges with this build. The problem is the build I'm playing right now has way better map clearing(coc ice nova) and I'm literally farming RNG on maps for nexus and other things.

My question is, is there a way to make this build faster at clearspeed? I dont mind changing few gems etc, I just want to switch to main build for boss killing while clearing maps as fast as possible. I'm open to any suggesion.

(BTW if anyones wondering, this is by far the safest AND easiest uber elder farmer I've ever played. It might be the fastest too and I've played Scourge arrow last league. With 2 dots you simply wont stop moving and destroying things and its essential in uber elder, if you move while doing enough DPS everything is x1000 easier.)

What do you mean by faster?

With this build i have +102-138% speed + constant phasing and I'm just running through maps like i've never done before. It's really, really fast especially when you are tanking with >14k ES...

the speed comes from boots (+30) + 2 x adrenaline flasks with ~+65% speed + phase run + jewels that give me phasing on kill.

Not to mention, I'm speeding this up with flame dash :)

to make this build faster you need cool down enchant for vortex, will feel much better for mapping

Do you guys think i can get to an Uber Elder kill in that budget with this build?

Just to clarify, because I think I missread your post a bit: flasks don't stack! neither do flask suffix. 2x adrenaline at the same time does nothing, only the strongest effect counts.

With that being said, I don't think the build is particularly fast. You can clear 1 pack at a time while running (Vortex) or multiple packs while standing still (Cold Snap) and get multiple packs while running from time to time (Vaal Cold Snap). There are many builds that are way faster. Just for comparison, my map times are about 2 minutes longer than with the build I played before (Soulwrest). In my opinion Vortex CD recovery helm enchant and more AOE (Carcass Jack?) are the best options to make the build faster.

While it is not the fastest, it is definitely one of the safest builds out there, so we still got that going for us.

If you level the gems yourself and are lucky with crafting it should be doable.
