[3.5] Occultist Vortex/Cold Snap ES/CI - Deathless and Safe Uber Elder and T16's

Uber elder down and the fight was the smoothest I have had so far in terms of survivability. It was was not deathless, but this time I only died once! With other characters I usually die at least three times. Damage was no issue, build was a lot of fun!

I have managed to reach 1,6 million Shaper Dps with Vortex now (no flasks up)
Here is PoB link if anyone is interested. Not sure how to push the damage much further without going low life( where I can get 3,4 million)

Also, I used to use this mace and seemed to drop some dps when switching to my current wand:

A big dps boost will come once you get your skill gems to 20/20, vortex if you can to 21/20. And if you put enfeeble in your cwdt setup it will free mana for malevolence aura, another nice dps boost.

Yes, definitely need to get my gems up. I will also try enfeeble in cwdt and then use malevolence. Thanks!

Turn on "Ignore Skill Hit", "Enemy was Hit by Light. Damage", and "Enemy is Chilled" under your configurations.

You're sitting at about 439k non-shaper DPS.

Ah thank you, figured I might be missing something in PoB. Also goes up a bit more with aspect of the spider configured =)

Oh and my EE setup looks good yes, nothing screwing it up?

someone mind helping me with the skilling tree i'm kinda confused. im currently on 30-50 skilling tree and after Coldhearted Calculation it seems that the tree is different so i can't put the same points that are shown on this build. Not enough mana to run Malevolence with Spider and Discipline. I see how you are doing it, but I am running CI and a Vaal Regalia, not the unique chest. Thoughs?

You are missing cold damage over time multiplier on your gloves, that should add a little :)

I caved in and went low life, not much difference in surviveability, especially considering everything drops dead in no time now..

many millions dps really. As for gear.. I am slowly crafting rings with body armour es% bonus and need to upgrade shield/helmet to more ES / -9% cold res. Apart from that, about as done as I can.

Got really lucky crafting the gloves obviously, had a 3 mod neck (cold multi, es and crafted es%, and slammed 3 times.... yeah!) I am tempted to redo the neck at some point.

PS. Bottled Faith is OP, and frostbite in weapon is legit good.



edit: missing watchers eye too. But Mana to ES + cold dmg over time is 20ex. So that will take a while hehe.
